Date of Stay:

The hotel is very convenient to Brigham City - we were able to get to our parents' home in about 5 minutes. It is also convenient to I-15, the way to other places nearby.

Close to everything. Ok. Very small breakfast area that had room for maybe 5-6 people at a time.
Date of Stay:
June, 2008
terrible place to stay, the only good thing was the price. the room was filthy. the desk was sticky, lamps and tables had so much dust on them, the room could not have been cleaned in weeks. I found hair in the tub ( and not the kind from your head). owners were unresponsive and uninterested in doing anything but arguing with my husband and i. we left at 6am just to get out of there.

Plumbing shook and knocked the towels into the toilet

It was the only thing available. It was old and very run down. There was mildew around the tub. They had painted over dirt and stuff on the walls and the base of the toilet wasn't clean. Other than that it was clean. The grounds were much run down, (including a closed and dilapidated restaurant on the premises) and the outdoor carpeted stairs were filthy. The areas were foliage use to be was let go and weedy. We will never stay at a Howard Johnson's again, even if they are franchised.

We went up to Bringham City for a soccer tournament - looked at hotels on line - and there wasn't much to choose from. This hotel is old - out dated and just didn't feel very clean. The room we had with two queen beds was super small and all the "amenities" were crammed in the room. Once we got there and drove around we spotted a lot of smaller, privately owned motels that were similar or better for less money.

The pool and hot tub were in their own building. Neither was clean or heated. The soaps and shampoos had dirt on them. The room smelled bad. The parking area was not plowed. The staff was friendly. I enjoyed the area and was there to see the bird refuge. This inn was cheap, but if I return I will stay someplace else.

Beautiful view of the valley from rooms. General poor condition of the facility. This was probably a nice place at one time, but degenerated into a dump. The current owners seem to be trying to bring it back but they have a long way to go. The pool was closed for resurfacing while we were there. The rooms were nice, but you could smell the beer soaked carpet on the stairways leading to the upper rooms. Parking lot is large but in poor condition. Restaurant on the grounds is closed with weeds growing up around it. We had a Haul and felt like posting a guard by it during the night.

I booked this room through online travel and while checking in the person asked me if my credit card had been charged for the reservation. I explained that it had been. He asked for my credit card info to keep for incidentals or if there was a problem with online travel. After checking out I found that he had indeed charged my credit card for the stay and disregarded what I told him about the reservation being paid for already. I am now working with my bank and online travel to resolve the double charges. The hotel itself was not great. We found a dirty blanket on our bed when we arrived and the 'heated' indoor pool was broken and to access it you must walk outside from your room at least 40 yards in 20 degrees and snow.

Staff was helpful but had a difficult time understanding English. Security lock chain was broken off door casing, no hot water until following A.M. and water pressure was extremely low. Difficulty communicating with them. Interior of rooms need upgraded and carpet cleaned, difficult to read room numbers from street.

room isnice, heater was good bad clean,no complain about desk or rest room.resaurants nearby and resonable price than other motels in brighamcity

The bed was comfortable. Hot water was sporadic. The towels were thin. This was an ok hotel with a comfortable bed.

we had best stay in our trip, we enjoyed our stay at Howord Johnson, big indoor pool was best things.

Dumpy. When we arrived the front desk man said he didn't know if he had a room for us the second night. That left us very concerned, but we worked it out in the morning with a nice front desk lady. They didn't clean our room for our second night even though we were gone all day and they had plenty of opportunity to do so. The hotel served for a bed and a shower about a step above camping.

Very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly even at very late check in. I would have liked different coffee in room. Quit breakfast too early. As mentioned above, the staff was very courteous. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the layout of the bathroom facilities. Not fancy, but very comfortable and efficient for a short stay.

I didn't like it. It was dirty and smelly. I always thought that Howard Johnson's was suppose to be a great hotel, now it's just a dive. The room was dirty and dark. I will never stay at a Howard Johnson's again.
Date of Stay:
February, 2008
Location was great. I had like to brush teeth, potty, shower wash hands etc in my room that I paid for and not smell poop at breakfast. I would like my money back or partially back for the last morning which was a disaster due to no running water.
Date of Stay:
November, 2007
Continental breakfast was nice. Good variety for the class of hotel. The pool was not heated and the hot tub was nasty. Bed was uncomfortable. It was fine for a one night stay but wouldn't want to stay for extended period of time. Nice in a pinch.
Date of Stay:
July, 2007
The employees were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast didn't offer much.
Date of Stay:
May, 2007
The hotel is old, rundown and and needs to have the Howard Johnson name removed as their name. The room was old, the bathroon and shower is at least 50 years old. For some reason they are allowed to use the Howard Johnson name, but that representation should be removed from this hotel immediately.
