We stayed here for only 4 nights, but I would definitely stay here again. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the restaurant next door was really good value for money and we left more than satisfied, the room was quite nice- especially for the price we paid for them! And in general we thought the location was great (we don't mind walking a few minutes or catching buses), and we got everything we needed. There's a Kmart, Target and Walgreens just up the road from the hotel, as well as a Walmart not much further. And they offered to take us to the Amtrak station by the airport as well. Good hotel.

We called directly to the hotel to make sure we could get a smoke free room. When we got there they said none were available. Of course we had already paid for the room so had no choice but to stay. I was told if we didn't book directly through them our requests were not considered. My husband is on a breathing machine and I am allergic to cigarette smoke odor. It wasn't just a simple request. Since Howard Johnson's has no consideration for their quests welfare, I'm sure we will consider all other alternatives before staying st a Howard Johnson's again. The bright side was they had one of the best retaurants I"ve ever ate at. They try to satisfy every palette and do it very tastefully.

Parking and shuttle was to be free and we were charged $30.00. We're trying to dispurte it because the travel website said it was free. Travel website is working with us for the refund. I wouldn't stay there again.

If you're going to this hotel for the pool, it was closed. When I called they said it would be open by the time I got there. It wasn't. Room service came by when we were not ready. I asked for towels & forgot to ask her to come back & she did not ask so my room didn't get cleaned. Restaurant is good & front desk guy was very nice & helpful

Worst hotel experience ever. We asked for two rooms with two beds, got one bed. We asked for non-smoking, and got smoking. We asked for adjacent rooms and were told they didn't have them, but when we had to switch rooms because the air didn't work, we were moved to an adjacent room. Our other party was moved to a completely different building. The worst part was the staff-RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!! DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had no wireless internet connection. It continued for the whole day. Although, the staff tried to fix it. But, it didn't work out. I personally feel. This hotel is worth it the amount they charge. The rooms were clean. Iron board was there. Coffee maker was there. Room heater was there and everything was working fine. The room was Hygiene as well. In the morning they served Breakfast which consisted of juice, coffee, muffins. The hotel staff was really supportive. The only problem I faced is the wireless connection was down. Although, the staff tried their best to fix it. They couldn't. Overall, I like to visit the hotel again in future for my trips.

I've stayed at the Milwaukee HoJo many times before. The staff is always very pleasant and the hotel is very charming in a 70's sort of way. It is generally pretty clean and the attached restaurant is a definite plus (don't expect low-fat or low-cal eats just good old fashioned food). It's definitely no ritz or even a wyndham but if you like places with a little character it's worth a try.

Rooms were OK,nothing special. No real free cont breakfast, over before we woke up. Employees not real helpful with questions we asked, but for an inexpensive stay, it is fine. Nice to have an outside pool.

The area around the hotel is not the best, and there is not a lot to do around there. The hotel itself is kinda frightening from the outside, and the lobby smells like chemicals, but the room was clean, and nice enough to sleep comfortably. Not too bad for the price.

not worth saving ten bucks. staff was not friendly, most were actually rude to requests. we asked for an extra pillow so our two year old could stay on a bed... they said there were none. in an empty hotel on sunday night? then we asked for some extra blankets because the comforters were yellowed by god knows what in spots and had cig burns (in a NONsmoking room) and the desk clerk said, "i dont know if we have any and i dont have time right now." they obviously never came. the continental breakfast was gone by 8 when we went down there, on a monday morning and acted very put out when we asked if there was anything else coming. and there was nothing by the way. we would never stay there again. but we would go to the attached restruant which was great food, great service and a great menu.

I was able to check out early. Pool was closed, Room was dirty, and Hallways were missing carpet. If I had to use one work. The reason I decided on this hotel was because it had a pool. Because of renovations, that were finished but the inspector had not been out, we were not able to go swimming. Stairs were missing carpet, and the shuttle took 30 minutes to pick me up. I was very disappointed, and could not wait to leave the next morning. If my flight had not gotten in so late (11:30 PM) I would have found a different hotel.

Hotel is not in the best neighborhood. The tub didn't drain properly, there was no vent in the bathroom. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on around. Overall the hotel needs many inprovements!

They had a shuttle service. One staff person in particular was rude. Susan the shift supervisor was pleasant and knowledgeable, however her staff was subpar. Specifically Alex was rude and disrespectful. The hotel needs to be remodeled. Light fixtures were dangling. Also the pool was closed for remodeling and we were not aware of that until we arrived on site.

Front Desk Staff was Friendly. The request I made with my reservation they did not meet. No ashtrays in my room. I asked for one and was told they did not have any. Kids running in the hall EARLY in the morning was annoying. I heard other patrons open their door and asked them to be quiet and was disrespected. I then got up and got dressed and left.

Great breakfast at the restaurant, good sized servings. Bottled water should be available for 24 hrs. Staff was friendly. All vending machines were either out of order or out of water. Pool area was closed due to construction or repair. The room was comfortable.
