The room would have been very nice except for the fact that both the blanket and the comforter should have been replaced a long time ago. Also, there was no mattress in the sofa bed. However, the staff was very accomodating were possible.

Right off the highway was a major plus. No fitted sheets on the bed, just flat sheets used. The stay was overall pretty decent. Did however experience some children running in the halls and making some rather loud noises. Loved the fact that Friendly's was literally adjoined to the hotel, didn't even have to walk outside to get there. The room was cleaned well, and very comfortable to stay in.

Lets start at the elevator, thought i was gona die on the way to the third floor. the room had water stains in the ceiling, and in the corner near the sliding door to the balcony. the wall paper was lifting and there was black mold. now lets go to the cleaning staff, they started knocking on the door at 8:30 am, then they finally called the room at 11 to ask if they could get in to clean the room. The walls were paper thin, could here the room next door clear as day. and there was only 2 pillows on the bed. I have stayed in a few places this is ther worst

The Howard Johnson Hotel at Milford is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in the US The hotel is old, dirty, and the service is terrible. You are better off sleeping in your car than in this place.

Free WIFI, Coffee in room. Did not refill the coffee in the room. Did not make one of the beds after first night. Did not give us any information about the power failure we had. Was not happy with the Hotel in general. I have had better experiences with HoJo's in the past. I would stay somewhere else the next time I visit this area!

I received personable help from the front desk, but the rooms were very poor as was the attention to cleanliness and order. For example, a laundry basket and trash bag were in the hall outside my room from 9:00 am - til well after 10:00 pm. Most hotels' housekeeping staff tidy the room when making beds, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom - not here.

great service but when i got to the elevator it seem shaky somewhat unpleasant. then when i got to the room it was dark and reminde me of mildew. not a pleasant sight for the couch too, it had a big rip in it like it was taken out from the dumpers. the carpet seemdark and dirty. not a pleasant smell in the room. one last unpleasant sight was the leftover in the refrigrator under the sink. what a rotten smell. on the possive note i did lie the location as well as the price. i no i paid low but the room should at least of been clean out and sanitize.

Staff was nice. Dirty dingy. Newly remodeled. Very nice and clean. All the amenities including an unexpected fridge and microwave. Close to freeway, but did not notice any traffic noise. I would definitely stay here again.

I was impressed by the staff at front desk. The gentleman went out of his way to make sure my stay was great, yet the housekeeping was HORRIBLE! I do not think the linen was ever changed the 3 days I was there on business. The housekeeping staff never washed the coffee pot or cups I used. The room had quite an odor of mildew. The carpet was old,the room needed major re-decorating. The motel needs lots of work to bring it up to fashion. The motel has lots of good eatery places near by,however you will need a car if you need to travel to New Haven, public transportation takes a long time, and the cab ride can be very epensive. I would stay here as a last resort, despite the front desk staff was great.

Nothing. Everything. Staff was unpleasant, there were bugs in the room, musty, dark hotel with seedy looking clientele. Not worth the price. Horrible experience. I didn't even stay one night!

"stinky, dirty, disgusting, rude and ignorant staff,"

The rugs in main areas were filthy, the elevator reeked of smoke and seemed unsafe, the place was dingy and badly in need of restoration. Good for an emergency overnight stay.

I liked the Milford Hojo. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the area. I loved the Mini Golf on the premise and very afforable. Would recommend to friends.

I liked the pool and friendly restaurant. The room was not too bad. The hall way is very dark and lonely. The elevator is also dark and dirty. The people were not very friendly. There was one lady that was nice. The hallways are very dark. I was scared to walk alone with my children. The pool was nice, but they never had clean towels. The hot tub had a lot of chlorine.

"Price is right for clean accommodations, staff is helpful, free continental breakfast a plus and wireless internet"

Location. Very old, asked twice for extra pillow blanket, none. We found this hotel to be very in need of remodeling. The bedspread had 3 cigarette burns in it, it did not smell like smoke. The carpets were old. The walls were so thin we could hear the people in the next room talking in detail. We asked for an extra pillow and blanket and the front desk said they would send them right up 1.5 hours later we called again, after no pillow and blanket arrived, and we were told there were none. The hallways seemed dark, and dirty in the corners and edges by the moldings. The soda machine was completely empty on our floor. We got the same price at the Hampton Inn in the same town down the road, and much better quality.

I liked the pool and hot tub. The breakfast could have been better, maybe a waffle maker. This hotel is fine for a short stay, not real elaborate, pool was nice though.

Nothing. Mold smell. Once you left the front desk area the mold was so bad that after trying a second room and only spending about 20 minutes in the hotel both our grandchildren, who have allergies became sick. The older age 16 was better after a few hours, but the younger age 11 was sick until the next morning. The only good thing I can say for the hotel is that once we informed them of the problem they canceled our reservations without any questions.
