In general was good excaept the sentence about parking charge was NOT clear at all at Orbitz website. It stated: available parking. Which was understood as free parking at site. There was No mention for the $10/day fee at all or the 1 bloack distance.

Too far from the core of the city, rooms were too small.
Date of Stay:

Convenient location to where we wanted to go but no place to park when checking in and the room size was very small. Felt like we were staying in a walkin closet.

Hotel is located in somewhat of a rundown neighborhood with no onsite parking. Room also had a mildew stench to it. Noise from street very irritating.

I enjoyed my stay there ya it was small and akward to unload your car but can't complain for Toronto and the price...

the street car is accesible; and buses, my main concern was climbing three flight of stairs. And breakfast was served across the street, not on premises.

Clean rooms. Staff was friendly andclean.

Stayed for 2 nights and had booked 3. BEDBUGS present in the early morning. Put one in a cup and took it down to the front desk, hotel staff accused me of bringing the creatures into the hotel, and were defensive and argumentative. Because I had booked on hotel website, there was no recourse to get my money back. They would not refund my money and letters to headquarters resulted in them passing the buck and telling me franchises are independently owned, and they have no power to force them to refund money. I will never stay at a Days Inn again, and this particular hotel is purely repulsive, both the conditions and the staff. Furthermore, there were blood stains on the sheets, the neighborhood has sketchy characters hanging about in the early hours, economically depressed area -- streetcars outside make so much noise it is hard to get to sleep. The bathroom was filthy and molten wax was spilled across the inside of the bathroom door. Horrible.

The pictures of this hotel are a little misleading. The neighborhood is a little run down and you don't see the blue sky for the cable car wires. The rooms we had were tiny. There were 2 full size beds where one should have comfortably been. It was an acrobatic act to get around one bed to get to the other. The beds were less than a foot apart. The place was adequate but my friends spent the rest of the time in Toronto talking about what a dump this place was. Do not expect what you see in the listed pictures and realize you are getting somewhere cheap for the city, but deservedly so. And it's still pricey for the cost.

Although the room was small and backed onto the TTC streetcar yard, it was comfortable and clean The convenience of this location at the western city boundary -- Roncasvalles /Queen W. is ideal for city-goers wanting an economic place to lay your head for the evening

Alot of thingsI didn't like at this motel. My room was verysmall. Ceiling fan noisy. No room to sit, only enough room for a bed. Rooms reminded me of dorm rooms in universities that bad. Hotel staff were not social able.

You got what you pay for. It's a cheap hotel, room was tiny but impecable daily. It's a bit noisy, since there's a streetcar garage very close to it. However transit was just out the door and the staff was very friendly. The worst feature was Breakfast. Not in the hotel but were given a coupon to amousy n smelly bar n grill across the street. I went there the first morning, and the other 2 I went elsewhere for breakfast.

The Days Inn - Toronto West Lakeshore Was a nice place and fairly inexpensive place. The rooms were cramped esp if you have lots of Luggage but I needed a room to relax in so I didn't complain. The free breakfast was good cooked to order. If i am in Toronto again, I will stay here again.

It had cable, and the breakfast was great. The room we stayed in was rather small. It was clean, our room was small, but it was all we needed. The breakfast was really good.

The staff at this hotel were the best I'd ever seen. The rooms were a little on the 'cozy' side but were well maintained and impecibly cleaned. For the price you cannot go wrong. Location was terrific. Transit outside front door and took 10 minutes to get to the core of the city for my appointments. I will definately return!

1. This hotel if far away from the Pearson airport -- inconvenient to get there unless driving, otherwise taxi charge is about $45, no easy public transportation; 2. inconvenient to carry luggage -- no elevator available; 3. big noise during the evening -- if the room is near the street side; 4. the room is too small. 5. the receiption desk is quite helpful, though.

Leaving. The room was very tiny and the staff was unhelpful. While accustomed to no-frills traveling, they wouldn't exchange any currency for me at night, only providing me with a roll of quarters. The location of the hotel was also further from the attractions I wanted to see.
Date of Stay:
January, 2007
Parking 4 min walk -10.Have to unload luggage parked in street w/hazards flashing. 2 double bed room was tiny. 12"" between beds and just enough room to walk around otherwise. Clean but dated and warn. Hall smelled. Neighborhood is so-so. I saw break- in damage to the door of the remote parking garage. Breakfast is a voucher for a bar and grill across the street. Choice of eggs pancakes or cereal. Food ok but not continental. I WOULD NOT take my family here again.

Close to the venue I attended. No elevator, parking was 5 blocks away+ $12.60. We had to pay an additional $12+ tax to park 5 blocks away, carrying our luggage with us. There wasn't even an elevator. What if I were in a wheel chair? The room was very small but the beds were comfortable. I understand that we stayed in one of the cheaper hotels/rooms but we did pay $ and expected it to be better. Oh, and the complimentary breakfast was horrible, it was just an Asian restaurant next door and the food wasn't good. Just not what I expected.

Room is maintained very neat. None. Hotel is very good in downtown, restaurants are close by, and I was looking for Indian restaurant it's nearby. Room maintenance is good everyday.
