the hotel is very hommy

Hotel transportation was waiting outside baggage claim with a sign. Restaurant did not serve alcohol or have a bar. Great for a quick stay in the city. Less than 2 miles from the airport. Hotel was quiet, breakfast good. Free transportation was safe and reliable and friendly.

The Hotel is pretty good for the price. The restaurant however, is not too good.

Poorly represented on line and terribly administered. I will never use Orbitz again if I am not dealt with fairly in this experience.

Great service, room and excellent location all in one. Which I would have stayed longer. Overall, this hotel was excellent. They picked us up at the airport, provided us with excellent and attentive service, the room was very clean and comfortable in a great location and their included breakfast was ample and very nice. This hotel is quite up to American standards and then some. Would highly recommend it to any traveler.

I stayed here for 10 days with my boyfriend who is from Guatemala. We had a great time there. Everybody was very friendly. When he left I was alone for 3 days, and they took very good care of me. From the front desk to the servers in the restaurant! I speak very little spanish, but that was ok. I never once felt uncomfortable or not safe. I would definately reccomend this hotel to any type of traveler. (unless you have children... not much for them to do there)

The employees were knowledgeable. They all spoke English. The breakfast was superb. I recommend it to everyone. Great location, Great food, affordable pricing comparing to the other hotels with of the same category or class. AH! do not forget. They would pick you up and drop you off at the airport, on time,at no cost to you and to your satisfaction. Oh! how I loved my staying at Howard Johnson Inn Guatemala City.

this is a small hotel in tne heart of the business district with friendly people and a free breakfast cooked to order. the hotel is undergoing renovation and is very cozy. dining room was excellent. when i ordered coffe into the room each morning ,the waiter was there within 5 minutes. we were always greeted each day by the friendly staff and a goodby each day when we left. they are finising a new restaurant soon. free transportation to the airport and a private taxi waiting for you each day. also, they exchange dollars at a rate better than local banks. we would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and business associates.
