I was very worried when I saw the exterior of the hotel and interior halls, etc., as we walked to our room. However, although the furnishings were dated, the room was clean, including the bed linens and bathroom. The staff were very friendly.

The rooms were ofa comfortable size. Furnishings and fixtures were well worn and outdated. The room was a good size but quite outdated. The AC worked poorly and there was some mold around the tub. The beds were clean and comfortable, but the shampoo and lotion containers appeared used.

I stayed there with my family for one night in June and the service from the staff was okay and the location is very close to highway. However, this place is really in need of update. The bathroom is not very cleaned as we could see the dark circle inside the toilet bowl and the tiles are dirtly. I didn't even want to go inside the bathroom. I woke up the next morning and spot a caterpillar crawling on the side of the bed! I was there with 2 small kids and I can't imagine if the little thing had made its way to the kids at night! All I could say that it's certainly not a good place for family stay and the value is definitely not matched with the price we paid for.

The instant recognition and welcoming attitude of owner. Very centrally located. Quiet night, very comfy beds. Could use some upgrading as it gave me the impression that it was used a lot. But the all around comfort overlooked all that.

The people are great. The stairs, the doors, the reception area, the smells in the carpets andthe beds, etc. We would rather sleep in the car or under a bridge. I can't imagine why this hotel is open for business; it needs much more than a facelift, it needs to be torn down.

Old pool was ok. Run down. This was 1* at best, very run down, some of the outside steps were so broken that the rebar and mesh were exposed and dangerous, many fixtures had to be 40+ years old.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms old and need to be redone. Smells dank. Pool appeared dirty. Had problems with first room we were in, due to running water in room above us.Staff was great, hotel older and in need of upgrading.
