The Howard Johnson Inn - Vero Beach FL is conveniently located .5 mile east of I-95 on RT 60, at exit 147, with an easy on/off access to I-95. We offer a complimentary continental breakfast from 6am to 9:30am in the lobby. Free wireless High Speed Internet Access, Outdoor pool, Guest Laundry, Vending Machines, and many restaurants are within walking distance. Tangier Outlet Mall with over 87 stores is within .5 miles of the property.
Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training 5 miles.
We have 60 comfortable rooms with a choice of either one king size bed or two double beds. Each room is larger than an average sized room, non-smoking rooms are also available. All rooms have microfridges, satellite television with HBO and ESPN, coffeemakers, hairdryers and irons/boards.
Rollaways, $10.00 per day, in-room safes, $1.50 a day. Free local calls.
Pets Welcome, $15 charge per pet per day.

TV only worked in the color red. Toliet leaked from base and unto floor. Sheets were dirty, had crumbs and hair on them. Air smelled like mold. Room felt trashy and uncomfortable.

Nice and quiet. Bed sheets did not fit, toilet could be cleaner. Hotel was good, except the sides of the toilet was dirty. and the bed sheets did not fit the bed and was coming off. Other than that, I still was satisfied.

It was inexpensive and met our basic needs. Furniture and bathroom were fine. It was freshly painted. The sheets and pillows were poor quality. The sheets were too small for the bed and constantly pulled off the mattress. If you are only looking for a place to sleep this hotel is fine. It is very close to the outlet mall but far from the beach. Others reviews mentioned the noisy truck stop across the street. Our room faced this but we never noticed any noise. I didn't feel that this was a problem.

Hotel staff helped us whenever we had a problem. Our door didn't lock whenever we closed it, safety problem. Overall, I liked the hotel and it met my expectations of what I paid for. The door not locking was a problem but they quickly found us another room to move into so it was not a hassle.

Parking space/clean bed. High noise level. For the single traveler is ok for a quick in out; if you are looking for quietness this is not the place, there is a tractor trailer parking/facility across the street that has lots of activity specially at night time.

Said I would have 2 queens got there only 2 doubles ever in hotel. Screens near the front were bent on one room looked like an attempted breakin--gave us discomfort. The truck stop nearby was very very noisy. Pricy for this location most definitely.

Nothing. Horrible!! Run-down, poorly managed dump. The single worst place I've ever stayed, including stays in many third world countries! This place should be ripped down or at a minimum, completely renovated.

close to I95. Outdated bathrooms and rooms. See through sheets and pillow cases. Close to I-95 is nice. Outdated room. Poor quality sheets, pillow cases. Not clean like Hampton Inns. Dirty lobby area. This facility is more like old Motel 6.
