Lobby smelled bad, hotel room AC didn't work enough to cool.
Date of Stay:
July, 2006
A complaint about the mold on the shower curtain was ignored for our second night's stay. There was a ring around the commode bowl. The sink was dirty. Dirt on the bathroom floor. The sheets did smell clean, but the worst was the mold. Even after complaining, there was no change. We got in too late the second night to do anything about it. The free breakfast was non existant. Some cereal in a container and two bagels do not look like breakfast to me.

Spacious rooms. Non-air conditioned breakfast/reception area. A standard motel on a convenient location. Rooms are clean but breakfast area small and very warm.

The mini fridge helped with snacks and the bed was very large. The coffee pot was not clean, the pillows were hard and the bathroom had stains. Our stay was for the night before our wedding and the night of our wedding so we opted for a king sized bed with mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot for a little leisure. The coffee pot hadn't been cleaned before we went to use it. The bathroom was cramped, you had to stand beside the toilet in order to close the door, and the walls had stains on them and chipping paint. The bed was a king, but only 2 regular pillows which felt like balled up T-shirts stuffed in a pillowcase. For the price it was fine. Close to highway access and plenty of food options. Right between 2 cities and plenty of attractions though.

They provided a continental breakfast every morning so we could have a coffee and a quick bite to eat before we left for the day. There was no swimming pool. This hotel is comfortable, clean and especially ideal for those travelers who are using it as an overnight stop.

Close to most of the attractions. Run down not well kept, no hot water, dirty, smelly. The hotel it was a bad experience. Walls were dirty, stained, furniture was torn and stained, towels were old and ratty with one towel with dead ants fold in it. Our clothes smelled of the hotel when we returned home.

Queen beds instead of doubles. The hotel has roaches. The room had two queen beds instead of doubles. The room had a mini-fridge and microwave. For a one star hotel, when I first walked in the room I was pleased. It did not take long to find a roach crawling up the wall though. Unless you want some additional company on your vacation I would recommend staying at another hotel.

Very neat in appearance, quiet, nice room. The iron was broken. If your in need of a quiet night's rest, AC that blows cold and a short distance back to the interstate, than this is the place for you. Local established restaurants are nearby and if you don't mind that a couple are actually at truck stops than this is the place for you. I recommend the Iron Skillet for a place to eat. They have a variety of items on the menu, people are nice and very attentive. We enjoyed our stay there.

They had a nice key. Roaches , could not turn AC off, no free breakfast, water knobs were backwards, operator could not speak good. Could never go their again.

The room was spacious. The lobby smelled. The hotel got the job done. The room was very large and came with more stuff than 5 stars come with. Other than the lobby stench, it was a good stay.

Great location, easy on/off I-95, ample food. TV reception was lousy.

The rooms were very nice and clean good location. The lobby was you eat your continental breakfast smelled like they had sewage back up very disgusting. The hotel was nice and comfortable. The lobby were the breakfast was served was horrible smelling it smelt like sewage back up.

Friendly service. A good value. A little close to a truck plaza. The staff were very friendly; typical continental breakfast. The room was clean and upgraded w/microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. The room was comfortable larger than typical two double bed rooms; all made the stay very enjoyable. No hotel restaurant but ample eatery selections in area.

Very clean, friendly service. Overall very satisfied. Low water pressure in the shower. Overall, this was a great hotel, especially for the price. It was convenient to king's dominion. Rooms were very clean, staff friendly. Continental breakfast provided (nothing fancy, but served the purpose). I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable bed, cheap. Mold on bathroom ceiling. Would not want to stay at this hotel for an extended stay.

Tons of parking. Lobby smelled really bad. The hotel was advertised as a 1 star hotel and it was slightly better than that. The rooms were very spacious, the service was very good, just not a luxury hotel. No complaints.

Cleanliness and price were definitely right on target. Management spoke broken English and made it difficult to understand. Location was on a four lane highway which made it somewhat difficult to get in and out of. Personnel speaking broken English made it difficult for me to understand them.

Cleaner than I expected. Nice room for price. Needs maintenance done on tub/sink drains, both broken. Room was cleaner than I expected for the price. Need a little maintenance on both sink/tub drain plugs. Both were broken.

Nothing. It was not very clean and the common areas smelled. The Continental breakfast was terrible. I would not stay here again, even to save money!
