I booked this hotel before reading any reviews.. After I read some reviews I was pretty scared to go but it wasn't that bad. The staff was nice depending on who was at the desk.. there was one unfriendly guy but that's no big deal. The man who stood before me at the check in was complaining about dirty rooms but my room was perfectly fine. The only thing that was a bit yucky was the bathroom mirror. I also liked the breakfast and I like the fact that the traffic didn't bother me as I had a room pretty far from the highway. I stayed there for 7 days and I must say I will stay there again on my next trip.

Room was moderately clean aside from the ants in the bathroom. Service was bad, staff didn't speak much if ANY english. WIFI was horrible and never worked, TV partially worked but no/low sound.

This is a bare-bones, economy motel right on US 1. The room we had was close to the office, very quiet, reasonably clean. The breakfast was okay, and I saw no shady characters. The pool was chained up and yes, nasty-looking. You do have to drive north on US 1 about a mile to make a U-turn and go south -- that's just life on New Jersey highways. All in all, good value for the money.

The rooms were ok..and some what clean??? Our tv didn"t work so my Husband asked the MANAGER if we could get a replacement since we were staying 4 nights with our 2 children that wanted to play their new video game (wii) after no response the next day my husband asked again!!! can we get a tv that works?? the manager said (I don't have anymore tv's). out of over 100 rooms we couldn't get a tv that worked??? It ended with the manager calling my husband bad names and when we asked him for a refund he said (I don't owe you anything you need to call the online travel agency to get your money back and he spoke more foul words @ my husband!!!! needless to say we left that very moment for the safety of our children!!! We spoke with the online travel agency and they were very helpful...

This has to be the WORST motel I ever stayed in> The door safety lock was broken due to a past guest kicking the door in. The window to the room right next to mine was broken due to someone throwing a patio chair through it. Inside the room there was cigarette burns everywhere. ! The night clerk spoke no English and was extremely rude. I would rather sleep in a dumpster or in a old wet cardboard box in at the shore of the EAST RIVER!

we booked a king size bed at this hotel in a nonsmoking room only to walk in and find a tiny double bed and a room that absolutely reaked of cigarettes. the room was unclean and the walls were paper thin- we could hear all of our neighbors beside and above us. i was worried all night that my car would be broken into, and i couldn't sleep in the tiny bed. overall, a huge ripoff and disappointment

Nothing. Dirty, unsanitary and uncomfortable. First the Hotel is located on a death trap of a highway. Second they say Wireless Internet, yet they do not have coverage in the back half of the hotel. The Room was falling apart, wallpaper falling down, rug pulling up and almost a 2 gap under the front door and rear door of the room. The Bed was like a hammock and when you wake up you will have multiply bug bites, I had over 30 bug bites on me that was not there when I went to sleep. Absolutely horrible.

We stay in this Hotel to visit NYC for 3 days before we drive north. Great diner near by and easy to reach. VERY friendly stuff. Room ok even the pool was closed - but ok - it was mid April. Who cares! We will stay in this hotel again on our next trip.

Location. No internet and fridge as promised. Very unhelpful staff. Trust me, trust me, trust me. Do not stay at this hotel. Locks were broken, no WIFI, no fridge in room, unsafe area, and staff was very unhelpful.

Pool (which I didn't use) and price. Again, mainly the inconvenient entry and pick up. Very close to highway. Right next to a Fuddruckers restaurant, but, besides that, this motel is a bit isolated for the person without his own car. On a busy highway with an entrance and exit that can be tricky at rush hour. I understand that there is a trail that one could take to cross under the highway, to get to the movie theater on the other side, but this was too difficult for a senior citizen. In general the room was fine and clean. Outdoor pool good.

Leaving it in one piece. Location, staff, room, pool, parking lot, broken shower, the bad smell in carpet. The worst place we have ever stayed. My husband, teenage daughter, and myself had to share a bed. Bed was broken, didn't go with boxspring, shower handle fell off turning water on and leaked everywhere. The place is located on the corner of 2 highway intersections, easy to go unnoticed and lots of parking lot traffic. Wouldn't even recommend to my mother-in-law.

Aplace to sleep after a very long drive. Opens out to stairwell comings and goings. It met our expectations for a clean place to sleep on our way to our final destination.
