The hotel was easy to find and convenient to many restaurants. Good value for the money with breakfast included.

Free Wi-Fi. Floors and furnishings were dirty, carpet nasty. The lobby was nice. Breakfast was o.k. Staff was not friendly.

Overall a good hotel conveniently located near Philadelphia (around 20 minutes by car). Rooms were spacious and clean with all the amenities you would expect from an Inn in this categorie. A simple breakfast was included. The only negative aspects were the traffic noise from outside and the cold air that came in from the front door.

Our stay at the Howard Johnson Express Inn was mediocre. There were some ups and downs. The check in was incredibly quick. The room was cleen and spacious and offered high speed internet access, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a safe. The staff was also quite friendly. On the other hand, the phone in our room didn't reach the front desk. The pillows were pancake thin and when we requested more, they refused to give us one for each occupant. They said it was not their policy. They should definitely change their ridiculous policy. Last time I checked, it was important to make your customers happy if you want them to return. The water pressure in the shower was weak. The drop down cieling in the bathroom made it feel cramped. I guesse that is why they discovered sheetrock. The continental breakfest was tasty but unatended and we had to ask for more coffee. This hotel is ok for a one night stay but it's not exactly five stars.

Hotel was nice and clean. Location and price was good, i think it was the best deal in whole town. They have tried their hard to give all amenities in the room like safe deposite, free internet, and etc.

We were going to a wedding in Philly and this was very convenient and affordable. The staff was very nice and the lobby was spacious and looked nice. Rooms are a good size and had all the amenities we needed for our stay (iron, fridge, good shower, TV with a gazillion channels, etc.). The check-in time was only 1pm, which was helpful because we could get ready there before the reception in the afternoon.

Location. No exercise area, food gone by 0830. Not bad but would probably stay at the Motel 6 down the road next time and get pretty much the same for less.

this was a good experiance rooms and property were clean staff was friendly

My wireless card stopped working just before my trip so I was thankful that the hotel had DSL cables in the room...didn't have to go ask for one or be re-assigned to another room to be able to use a cable vs. wireless.

Helpful front office and cleaning staff. Room somewhat lacked charm. It was a very moderate priced hotel - my room seemed to be missing the telephone not a problem; outside bathroom light flickered and buzzed; cigarette stains on sink; smoking room lacked ashtrays; minor considering the price and I did not pursue any remedy just accepted it for my one night.

There is no such thing as a non smoking room because they all reek of smoke. Even if you get over that, the folks in the laundry smoke like chimneys and the stink filters up through the facility. ""Free breakfast"" too often consisted of orange juice that was actually brackish water, cereal but no bowls or spoons, and similar. Daytime front desk is the only good thing about this facility.

The hotel room is quite comfortable.

Had free breakfast. Floor was wet, bathroom in room stunk, sink drain rusty. Hotel is not worth the money we paid. The room was small, the floor had a big wet spot (don't know if the maid spilled something or something leaked), the shower curtain had a strong musty odor, the drain plug in the sink was completely rusty, the woman that checked us in was unprofessional, she was reprimanding an employee on the telephone as we were trying to check in.

The hotel is in very convinient location. Very friendly staff and good service. They provided all the necessary stuff in the room, however I see the bed and sofa are worn out little bit. And the comforters provided are also little worn out. Otherwise no complaints!

It was ok, but should be a one star. Beds were way too hard to sleep on. I'm very, very disappointed in there pricing of this hotel.

Howard Johnson Express Inn - Mount Laurel was convieniently located close to freeway. I was able to drive easily to Trenton as well as Philadelphia. There was a gas station next to hotel, McDonnals and restaurants. I liked the fact that I my room was very close to reception and lobby, which is important for a women who travels alone, although the area looked nice. The room was large and clean. They provided an iron and a table, too. For me a very important fact was an acces to wireless internet in my room.

Close to where I needed to go. Maintenance was lacking in the room in general. Looks like an older hotel that is being milked off every dollar. Did have a decent breakfast in AM.
Date of Stay:

Our overnight stay was very short so we did not get a chance to use many of the other services, however, it was not a very comfortable room and the fan in the bathroom was so loud that you almost could not use the light. More attention to amenities would be a good idea.
Date of Stay:

The lobby was very nice and the outside of the hotel. The rooms, were old and smell of cigarettes. The hotel looked very nice outside and the lobby but the rooms need updated! Ceilings doors all falling apart and stained. No alarm clock the TV remote needed new batteries.

The Howard Johnson Express in Mount Laurel, NJ was relatively clean and suited our purpose. Our family was in town for a reunion so we used the facility basically for sleeping purposes. The first room we were assigned had a strong cigarette smell and was not as presentable as we expected but we were able to be placed in a different room. We have no complaints about the hotel staff and our room was clean. The continental breakfast was fine. There was a lot of construction and people working in and around the parking lot of the motel which took away from the ambience of this motel. I am sure when the renovations are complete this will be a great place to stay. Overall, we had a good stay.
