Comfortable sleeping, refrigerator useful. Rooms need to be freshened up, musty, not a clean smell. Has potential, new management strategies needed to reach a higher level of performance.

This was honestly the worst value for money spent we have had in years of traveling. This place had not seen a coat of paint in years and who knows when last updated. The fixtures were ancient and the toilet seat was barely attacched to the toilet. There was one towel in the room for the two of us and it looked like it hadn't been washed.What irritated us the most was that it was a AAA diamond rated hotel??? Shakes my confidence in AAA ratings. As long as they get their anual fee I guess it doesn't matter??We have stayed at Howard Jonhnson hotels before and been quite pleased but we discovered that this was a privately owned hotel with some sort of arrangement with Howard Johnson.

It was convenient and relatively inexpensive. I expected more for what I paid. The staff was marginally helpful, overall adequate. The beds were rock hard, and the air conditioner took an hour to cool the room to a reasonable temperature. The sheets were scratchy, and the "satellite TV" they advertised got about 4 channels all local cable type channels. The free breakfast consisted of a large bin of muffins and doughnuts, with old coffee, and watered down juice meaning my diabetic husband went without. Everything was in various stages of disrepair.

Hotel needed a few things worked on. BUt everything was good. Quite and roomy overall nice stay for the money.

This hotel is run down and in a bad part of town. The clothes rack was falling off the wall...electrical outlet didn't work and one afternoon while taking a nap someone knocked on my door and wanted to spray for bugs! Every night police cars with sirens blaring went by. Spend more money and go somewhere else!

Great price! Hotel was well maintained and overall experience was great! Hotel was aged, but still in good overall condition. Would definitely stay there again. Even though the place was dated, it was clean, in a convenient location and well maintained. The only negative aspect was that the hot water was hot and the cold water was lukewarm. But it was FL in July. What would you expect?

Cheap price, clean room. Seemed that it was full of non English speaking male laborers. O.k. For a cheap place to sleep. Would not want my wife or daughter to stay there alone.
