Orbitz did not properly process our request and we did not get a non-smoking room. The hotel clerk complained that she had contacted Orbitz many times that the special request field was not being transmitted in the reservation. There were no other rooms, we were stuck with the stench of a smoking room. There was a loud bus-load of people who were up all night making very loud noise until 5 in the morning, and the hotel staff did nothing.

Good location for the traveler. In sore need of a makeover. Poor breakfast provided. This hotel is for the one night traveler who is leaving first thing the next morning and doesn't care about where they stay. The location is convenient to the Interstate and restaurants, but so are at least 6 other hotels. The furniture is old and chipped and frayed, carpets stained and bathrooms old and well used. The continental breakfast consists of toast, coffee, dry cereal and juice when they bother to fill the containers. Figure on going to the Waffle House for a hot breakfast.

Would NEVER stay here again. The room was non-smoking but reeked of cigarette smoke smell. Burn marks on carpet from an iron. Shower had to run for over 5 minutes before you could get hot water. Free Breakfast was "poor" and the motel itself was dirty.

This was a terrific value. Comfortable clean room in a great location just off the main road. Nothing fancy, but didn't have an "economy" feel either. We were pleasantly surprised at what we got for the price and have certainly paid much more for much worse! We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through. People in the hallways are a bit too easy to hear, but the bed was so comfortable it didn't matter too much.

Not convenient to turn left from the parking lot. Basic motel, nothing extravagant, everything was clean and on time, staff was friendly.

The rate was good, the room was very clean, the staff was friendly - and the water pressure was even good. I'd recommend, and I'd stay again if I was in the area.

I was very angry that the ORBITZ rate was 145.00 when I could have booked direct for under 100.00. I will never again use a travel company that collects those kinds of fees. What is the point?

Friendly people. Pool was not open. Over all it was a good stay. Wish we would have been able to get a group rate since it was family from different locations in for a Memorial Service. Maybe next time.

We were on our way from our NY home to our FL home for the winter so looking for clean affordable night's sleep. This fit the bill.

The room was very comfortable. It was large and spacious. Our only complaint was that the heating element did not extend into the bathroom. The bathroom was very cold, especially at night.

We stayed here for a ski trip at Winterplace. The room was spacious and clean. Good enough to rest after skiing. Free breakfast was cheap.The hotel has indoor corridors. Not a motel type parking in front of doors.Note that you need to pass a toll road ($1.25 one way) to/from Winterplace ( 20 minutes ride).

I was surprised at how large the room was. There were 4 of us and we weren't crowded at all. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. It made a great place to stop as a midway point on the way to the Carolinas. We especially appreciated how clean the room and bathroom were.

The staff was polite and somewhat helpful. Directions to the hotel were somewhat inaccurate. The hotel was OK for a short stop over but would not recommend it for a vacation stay of any lengthy period.
