Housekeeping Camp Yosemite National Park

Housekeeping Camp is located along a section of the Wild & Scenic Merced River in the center of Yosemite Valley. This is the ideal location for those who like to camp outdoors without the hassle of setting up a tent. Housekeeping Camp features sandy beaches for swimming and sunbathing, plus great views of Yosemite Falls and Half Dome.

Housekeeping Camp is our only lodging option that includes a campfire ring, perfect for outdoor cooking. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. To enter the park, National Park Service may require snow chains to be worn on your vehicle anytime between November through April. Due to a large rockfall, the Big Oak Flat Road (the continuation of Highway 120) is closed inYosemite National Park. The road is closed between the Foresta Junction on Highway 120 (Big Oak Flat Rd.) and the Highway 120/140 (El Portal Road) Junction. Yosemite Valley remains accessible via Highway 140 (El Portal Road) comingfrom Merced/ Mariposa and via Highway 41(Wawona Rd.) coming from Fresno/Oakhurst. The Tioga Road remains closed. Foresta Road, between Foresta andEl Portal, is not accessible. Yosemite National Park remains open.
