Very elegant and in a fantastic central location. The hotel is situated on a cliff overlooking Great Western Beach and Newquay bay. It is close to all amenities and shops, with direct access to the beach via their own lift.

My Partner and I came to stay for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I only have 1 criticism and that is when we were having breakfast in the morning, we didn't find the staff very welcoming, it doesn't cost anything to smile, their dress attire should also should be checked before they start service as they were very scruffy.The service was very slow and the breakfast could have been hotter.

Nice hotel - shame about the noiseStaff were very friendly, hotel is old but very well kept. Room was comfortable and clean. Central location for everything. Only fault is the noise from the surrounding nightclubs/pubs which is relentless even midweek. And due to no air con in the room, the window has to be open unless you want to bake which unfortunately lets even more noise in. Shame as not the hotels fault that it seems 'booze britain' are filming there every night of the week! But maybe if the hotel warn their customers at the time of booking then this would help.

The public rooms in the hotel have been modernised but the hotel rooms have not as far as I could see. The room I had was cofortable and cost effective but on a very busy noisy road and difficult not to hear noise in the early hours and wake. However I like th idea of offering room only in a seaside hotel as don't take breakfast and value for money is close to high seaon

Lovely hotel. Full of character.Beautiful views. Very Central. But.... Had a room at the front of the Hotel and because of the night club next door it was very noisy til 4 am and then the seagulls started. Because of the value for money, I would stay again but would bring ear plugs.

This was my first stay at the Victoria Hotel but I will certainly return again this year as I travel to Newquay quite frequently. The staff were both helpful & pleasant and the accommodationand breakfast were very good. Excellent value for money booking through Late Rooms.com.!

Hotel Victoria, NewquayLovely old Victorian hotel. Lots of space. Room itself quite small and could have benefitted from a fan, but adequate for a single night. Our room was overlooking the street and it was very noisy at night. At 3am there were still people outside shouting. But this is Newquay, so no surprise there! Staff all very helpful and friendly.

RTTS weekendTwin room of good size, power shower and nice biscuits.Excellent swimming pool, clean and friendly. Cooked breakfast on the stingy side. Staff friendley and helpful excellent location. RTTS in comfort. Only place in Newquay that I think is better is the Headland. Lower marks for value as they ramped the price up for RTTS weekend. Shame on you !! :) Happy to take the family back.

goodnice place, great swimming pool, didnt have room ready very quickly had to keep going and asking for it, breakfast was horrible. they upgraded our room to family room but why did we want family room when there was only two of us?

I enjoyed my stay in the Victoria Notel, Newquay CornwallThe hotel is very well situated, near the station, in the centre, near all the beaches and attractions, near shops and cafes. The hotel has facilities that not every good hotel has: indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, a lift to the beach. I enjoyed every minute I was there.

This hotel was right in the town centre of Newquay, it met all our needs and a sea view topped it.If you are thinking about booking this hotel, don't hesitate just book. It is an old hotel but very clean and right in the town centre and some rooms overlooking the sea. Everything about our stay was just perfect and Laura on the reception was very efficient. Would definitley look to book this hotel again.

mature coupleThe staff always cheerful and helpful. I asked for a fridge for medication and was promptly supplied with one at no extra costwhere as in Spain a payment of £10 was charged.Although the hotel is in desperate need of of a refurb rooms were kept 100% clean.

single room was small and next to the lift, but for £40 including breakfast and being right in the centre of town and with parking on site well worth the money. I wouldn't however pay the standard rate to stay here.

last minute booking for birthdaystaff very friendly ,polite and helpful.It was clean and well kept.We ate in the restaurant on both nights we were there and had a very nice meal on both occasions.Breakfast was also very well cooked.

A fabulous time....Would just like to say that we booked the Hotel Victoria through laterooms.com and were so chuffed with the hotel and service we received. We took a mini break to Newquay and found the hotel perfectly located; central to the the town, restaurants, beach and nightlife. Next time we visit Newquay we will definately be booking in again. The staff were friendly, helpful and gave us lots of information and the food was delicious!! Excellent!

I think this is the smallest single room I have ever stayed in but quite compact. I had to ask for the room service menu twice and then eat quite late because of this. I would stay at the hotel again but would ask for a room away from the front of the hotel and nightclub as on the night I stayed I could hear the noise from the night club and got woken up when it closed .
