It is the home of many wonderful and historical sites, such as the Columbus Castle, the Santa Maria Cathedral, first in America, Columbus Square, and the Spain Plaza. City tour the Colonial Zone and commercial district of Santo Domingo, where you can find the Mercado Modelo, home to all varieties of artwork and local specialties. Shop in the Conde Avenue; visit our Culture Plaza and all its museums.
