Overnight in ParisHotel was fine in the centre of Le Marais area, this place is typical of Parisian small hotels, gourdy decor in the reception, comfortable rooms though the single beds were so narrow so as to make you feel you could roll out of them!

room was very nice.. not large but was expceting very very small from other reviews and paris rooms in general. liked the windows/doors to street and quaint ironwork, almost a balcony. . liked the white cane table /desk and chair, decore of room and the nice toiletries. nice comfy bed, crisp clean linen. area of hotel is greati didnt eat here so cannot comment on food. . but people were great and spoke fluent english , lateish one night i arrived back to hotel and needed a corkscrew. man on desk seached but after discovering they had none( people had presumably not returned ), suggested the restaurant directly across the narrow street would happily help out."just mention your staying here" they were more than glad to help . very nice treatment . i throughly enjoyed my stay here. had some reservations after reading some reviews but im glad i took my chances and booked. only complaint was the early morning traffic, buses and garbage trucks made a lot of noise outside my window. im a light sleeper but it was a bit of a racket each morning.

This hotel is located in a very central area, with lots of restaurants and bars available within close walking distance. The room is small but adequate for a couple - it is also quite comfortable, with a nice balcony and a decent size bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excellent location, delicate choice of colours in the room, polite and serviceminded staff.Lacking general information on the hotel in the room, wi-fi was VERY expensive, no electricity in the bathroom for hairdryer or shaving.

The equivalent of about GBP150 per night for a rather poky room (and breakfast - had we chosen to take it - would have been more than GBP10 pppd extra) seems a lot - but perhaps not for this part of Paris (we have stayed before and know this to be well situated for access to the eastern central area and Ile de la Cite). Though the room was rather small, it was comfortable and the bathroom proportionately more spacious. Overall, a bit shabby in places - but it served its purpose. Certainly very quiet. Staff efficient and friendly, insofar as we had much dealing with them!
