The first studio i got the key to was very small (I booked and paid for 2 persons but came alone) and although the hotel claims it is non-smoking the room 701 smelled seriously of smoke that made me sick. I had to go far more than the 30 metres you describe to change the key to room 709. The rooms were so different in standard - too much not working. 709 at least did not smell from tobacco, two important lamps did not work (I fixed one myself), the refregirator had no shelves inside and was not cooling so it leaked lots of water out into the floor that i had to handle at 1 o'clock in the night. The reception har not told me the possibility to rent a device to turn on the heat, so when told by other guests I went for one in the reception at 1 o'clock in the night. There were no balconies whatsoever in the studios as written in your introduction and the whole building in the side street was worn, old and the rooms extremely dirty. Being hotel Tropicana I would be extremely ashamed letting out such poor standard studios in the name of the hotel!!!!! I will never stay there again. And other guests I spoke to had the same opinion. The hotel had so few guests that I do not understand why they did not give me one of their better rooms among the studios instead of trying me off with 701 to start with. Very depressing experience!!!
