Hotel St. GeorgeHotel was very convenient for all amenities as it was situated in Parnell Square. Pleasant welcome from reception and room was at the back which was very nice and quiet, no noise from other rooms. Bar could have been used for serving meals as no meals were served other than breakfast. Dining room needed tender loving care, where do you see oil clothes on tables.Over all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great breakfast and great spot for catching the city tour bus. Had a delay in getting my car out of the parking lot and the sign did not light up at night making it hard to find.

Great Location but try to get a room at the rear of the hotel. The traffic at the front, plus the building works in progress on the square, makes it impossible to sleep. I had two disturbed nights where I had about two hours sleep in all. My travelling companions had a room at the rear and it was very quiet. Recommend the hop on and off bus service about 2 minutes walk from hotel. Staff very friendly.

Phone in room didn't work to get an outside line. After several attempts and non-helpful tips from the night clerk, I came down and used the desk phone to call home using my international calling card. Hair dryer didn't work, so couldn't wash hair for all day air travel.Night clerk could not tell me where to catch the AirLink bus the next morning, and the nice morning clerk gave me incorrect location. Luckily, I wandered the block and found the sign in time.Apart from these, the hotel and room were quite cozy and the location great. I would stay there again.

room was a single of reasonable size facilites were very good only complaint was the shower room was very cold especially the floor tiles maybe as room is above carparking area.

Nice place, close to everything. Has elevator, which is a big thing. Wifi a bit iffy in your room, but take your laptop to the main floor and internet access was consistent - nice lounge, comfortable. Small-ish room, but fine for a night sleep, no noise outside. Thanks!

Hotel St George was clean, confortable and definitly good value for money.The reception staff were always friendly - even when we came back at 3 in the morning.The rooms were perfectly comfortable - not the most avant guarde or luxurious but hey, you get what you pay for, this room was clean comfortable and had all of the basic amenities. a perfect place to sleep.The walls were slightly thin - but a LOT better than other places we have stayed in.Very close to the centre of town and only five minutes walk to the airport bus. I will definitly be recommending Hotel St George to people looking for an honest comfortable hotel in Dublin that doesn't break the bank.

The Hotel was well placed in the City centre, staff were all very friendly and helpful. , our room was clean and comfortable, ideal for a short stay. The full Irish breakfast was very good although the breakfast room was on the small side. Accomodation in Dublin is very expensive so this Hotel represents exellent value for money. I would definately stay there again.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel where the rooms seem to have more character. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean but a couple of light bulbs missing, these were reported but never replaced. Also walls were quite thin so be prepared to hear noisy neighbours! Breakfast was excellent again with friendly staff. Location was ideal to visit the City and for using local transport. Would definitely stay here again.

Difficult to find because the address did not state that the hotel is on East side of Parnell Sq. A message was left for me to contact sender but I did not receive it until next day. Hotel was basic, quiet and clean with cramped shower space. Nice breakfast room with plenty of good food.

Very pleasant Hotel near the centre of Dublin, the staff were all friendly and the room very clean.The rooms have are modern with facilities that match,the only downside for me is the walls are partionioned and not very soundproofed so noisey neighbours could be a problem.

Very conveniently located hotel (1 min O'Connell St). Very reasonably priced every time I have stayed there. Rooms comfortable and adequately provided. Breakfast is basic but good. Some free parking also available onsite - I've been able to get a space there very time I needed one.

I've stayed in the sister hotel Castle hotel last year for the Dublin marathon. I was so impressed re: value for money that i wanted to go back. The Castle was booked-out so I went for St George. There I got the same friendly treatment, reasonable price and generous breakfast at the crack of dawn. I am very happy. Only minus: tiles in the bathroom loose, TV aerial missing (so no reception); Telephone missing from the room. I didn't mind because I just needed a place where to sleep, wash and been fed, but these problems should be addressed.

It was a nice enough hotel. The reception and restaurant are lovely but my room was absolutely freezing. I did however book a single room for the night and ended up with a huge triple room all to myself.

The hotel is convenient to central Dublin, just a short walk away, and the Dublin Writers Museum is very close. The room was small but clean and functional, perhaps not as pretty as I'd hoped from some of the online photos. The biggest disappointment was not receiving a wake up call for my last morning. It meant I had to skip one place I'd been hoping to go to, and the hotel staff apologised but didn't offer any way to make it better. It is, though, a good hotel with a beautiful, relaxing bar area, everything clean, with an okay breakfast.
