A conIf you are into delapidated surroundings with rusted baths, decor from the early 1970's, wallpaper hanging off and plug sockets that come out of the walls, then this is the place for you! I appreciate that Belgrade has its fair share of problems with many buildings awaiting renovation but when I am paying 60 EUR a night I expect a lot better. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the staff generally helpful, location good and the breakfast a pleasant surprise. But any place that nearly reduced my girlfriend to tears upon walking in the room (after 2 weeks of staying in hostels around the Balkans) has some serious problems.Also be aware that going through Laterooms takes you to a company called Travelmed who asked me to verify my credit card by sending them a fax of the card itself and a copy of my passport - very strange. They backed down when challenged but I think other laterooms users should be aware of this highly peculiar practice.
