Good location and facilitiesWe stayed for one night, a Saturday, and wee generally pleased. Staff polite and generally helpful too. Rooms modern and clean with good facilities, good air conditioning, although the mattress (new and firm) was slightly on the hard side. One chocolate supplied in a double room, for two people to share..!??!!! Hotel details and representative when booking confirmed that room would be available from 1230 on day of arrival, but on the day when we arrived at 1330 the only rooms which had been cleaned and were available were smoking rooms. We were offered the option to leave our bags and come back for a cleaned non-smoking room from 1530. Car park €11.50 - suggest that you park in the calle (street). Very convenient for metro station (closest: Amistat, line 2) or bus no 22 for the beach. Breakfast gets busy - best to go well before 9.45/10. The hotel is situated near many buildings and one over the way held an illegal and very noisy 'rave', which created a lot of disturbance and argument in the street around 0600, although this is not the hotel's fault.On the whole we would return if visiting that area - especially if the price were around the €70-75 mark instead of €87 paid.

We had a one-night stay at the hotel. The hotel is that close to the city center, it took us a bit walk from there, but the streets and even the river-bed park where safe late evening (lots of people).

Great hotel, especially the staff and the breakfast!We really enjoyed our stay in the Silken Puerta, it is a great base for exploring Valencia. We found the hotel staff very helpful and enjoyed the buffet breakfasts especially. The only criticism would be that we booked a double room but where told that if we wanted a non-smoking room it would have to be one with 3 single beds.

The hotel was very clean and tidy. The rooms were very spaceious and clean. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. The only down side was the beach is a good walk away but only 10 euros in a taxi.

The only down side of this hotel is that it is quite far from the city centre, quite a walk over some quite busy roads. Also it would be better if breakfast was included in the price as this is qutie expensive on its own. Hotel is very nice though, large rooms with lots of free complementory products to use.Wouldn't stay here again just due to the location - if you were a group of friends though and could share taxi's I think that would be ok.

Great hotel and excellent service from Zoe @ Laterooms.com, although the only dissapointing thing about my stay was that for upgrading to the executive suite the only difference was from beig in the standard room was that I was on the 7th floor, thats it, the rooms would have been exactly the same. Apart from that the stay was excellent I would definatley stay in the future and plan to, as I visit Valencia on a regular basis.

It's not cheap, but it's beautifully designed - the rooms are huge and luxurious - and the staff are really sweet.

Excelente Hotel a Precio medio-altoLas instalaciones del hotel son realmente buenas. Habiación moderna e insonorizada. Por error en el trámite de la reserva, nuestra hab itación ya estaba ocupada, así que nos dieron otra de mayor categoría por el mismo precio.
