Ideal for business travelers and tourists alike, the Hotel Sheldon offers oceanfront views of the Atlantic. The boardwalk stretches for nearly three miles and is the ideal spot to walk and rollerblade. There are numerous championship golf courses in the area or guests can enjoy horse races at Gulfstream Park. There’s even a nearby greyhound race track. Outdoor parking is available at no charge at the Hotel Sheldon. Miami International Airport is easily accessible from the hotel.

What are your breakfast options?: There are about 10 restaurants within 300 yards. They charge between $3 and $10 for breakfast. We believe all of them open between 6:00am and 7:30am, depending on the season.
What transport is available to get around?: The big shopping malls are not easily accessible by public transport. In general, public transport is not very tourist friendly. You have a trolley that serves downtown Hollywood, some parks and beaches; then the Water taxi that takes you to Fort Lauderdale. We suggest driving will be your best bet.
What can I do nearby?: Bars, restaurants, parks, Broadwalk, shopping, ocean, cruises, water taxi, trolleys, sports, nightclubs, lounges, theaters; everything an oceanfront location which happens to be minutes away from Ft Lauderdale and Miami can offer.
Do you have internet?: Right now we have basic wi-fi which works in most rooms, but sometimes is not 100% dependable, but it's free.

Effective March 1, 2011, we will have a brand new system which will be reliable and there will be a small surcharge for it of $5.00 a day. (however we may offer it for free for the first 30-45 days).
Do you provide parking?: We have a large parking area for guests to use at no additional charge.
