Check in and out experiences were good. Room was clean but small. The room cleaning was taking place at 4PM which is too late in the day. The hotel is 10 to 15 minutes away from the old town (walking). Breakfast was good. The pool is a little small but nice.

Hotel was close to everything. Enjoyed walking to all the attractions. Dinner and breakfast there was superb. Staff was friendly and helpful. I know where we're staying when we return to Santa Fe.

Quiet, unique atmosphere, excellent pro-active service. Should not book children in rooms adjacent or above couples. Heating units a bit noisy. The Hotel Santa Fe is unique among the downtown Santa Fe hostelries because it is controlled by the Picuris Pueblo and the spirit of southwestern pueblo culture fills the rooms and public spaces. Subdued lighting, Native American weavings and sculpture add to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the service is prompt and professional, and if you stay in the Hacienda wing you are treated to an even higher level of smiling service along with fireplaces and complimentary shuttle service to the Plaza and Museum Hill. The rooms are solidly furnished and quiet, although those facing Manhattan or Guadalupe Streets now suffer just slightly from the sound and lighting of the newly active train station. The bathrooms are spacious with tile floors and, in our room, a beautiful glass shower with marble seat and double shower head. Though not unfriendly to children, the serene, almost cocoon-like atmosphere of the place makes noisy or ill-behaved children that much more unpleasant. If you have a boisterous brood, please, stay somewhere else!

"The room and bathroom were entirely too small and the shower was cold! The continental breakfast was $10! There are way too many other hotels to chose from in Santa Fe that have a lot more to offer than this one does, and the other hotels are actually located in the historic shopping area. On the upside, the towels were soft, the parking was free, and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle for anywhere within a 1 mile radius. Our advice?Skip it!"

The location of this hotel cannot be beat, it was close to the town square, canyon road and a slew of fantastic restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful, dog friendly, nice pool/spa area. No robes, expensive water bottles, tiny bathroom, limited cable. The decor was uncommonly beautiful in both the lobby and the room. It was so nice to come in after a long day walking around town, find the hotel easily, and hit the Jacuzzi. We also noticed people bringing their dogs in, and next time we will bring ours. I had hoped the room would provide robes to wear down to the pool area, and I've grown accustomed to complimentary water in the room and a free light breakfast at cheaper hotels. The bathroom was pretty but very small, so we could not share the sink even to brush our teeth. The pillows on the bed were quite comfortable but the bedspread could have been a bit larger to avoid fighting over covers at night.

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Santa Fe. It was quaint, clean and the most bang for the buck I found there. I was a little nervous b/c of the price but was very pleasantly pleased. The food was good there but the resturant staff argued non stop in front of guests. It was very unprofessional."

The junior suite is comfortable, clean and rather well furnished. It has a King size bed, 2 TVs, a sofa. The corner room we were given had decent views of the mountains around Santa Fe. The hotel restaurant good marks for its native American style of cooking. However, I think it is over-rated. Better dining options are definitely available in Santa Fe especially in the Guadelupe District (within walking distance).

Convenient to Downtown Santa Fe. Very expensive for the amenities offered. Nice, but certainly not a 5-star hotel, although priced like one. The restaurant was not good.

This hotel was very nice, but over priced. It is not within walking distance to the plaza. Although the hotel offers a continental breakfast I thought a coffee pot should have been in the room.

Hotel Santa Fe was just what we wanted for our vacation. Hotel staff was very friendly and happy to help. We had a junior suite. The room was big and comfortable with a sitting room for relaxing. Bed was dressed well and welcome after a long day. Bathroom off of the bedroom had a sink and vanity area apart from the shower/toilet area. Space for hanging cloths and a lot of drawer space. Pool area was fenced in, well maintained, towels are provided at the pool area. Food in the restaurant is regional Southwestern and delicious. Dining can be inside or outside. Atmosphere in the lobby enhanced by a Flute player on Saturday night that was enjoyed while dining. Hotel Shuttle Bus to local sites was comfortable and convenient. Will definately stay again when in Santa Fe.

Genuine Indian Southwest motif was pleasing. I liked everything. Hotel Santa Fe was a charming, comfortable, and very pleasing place to stay. The outside areas of the swimming pool and patio dining were handsomely landscaped with Southwestern vegetation and flowers. The courtesy van service was a wonderful bonus that worked beautifully. I definitely would stay there again.

Has gotten worse... they charge $10 for a very meager breakfast and $10 for internet. They might as well roll these fees into the room rate.
