Smelly toilet? Of course sirWe stayed at the Sampi Hotel on two ocassions, unfortunately we had booked the second night before experiencing the first. The hotel bathrooms smell horribly of dirty water, and requests to change room are met with "we are full" - upon which the hotel sends up a porter with contents to empty into the toilet - obviously having done it many times before.The hotel clamis to have 24 hr valet parking, howeer you are then advised that it closes at 2am, and even when you drop off the car prior to 2am, they proceed to tell you it is closed, and the car is then left on the street. The internet charges at the hotel are also excessive, at Euro 12.50 per hour - the most expensive internet in all my time travelling. While the location is fairly central in Milan, I would not reccomend it, or stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful and is definitely a 4-star+. I liked everything. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top notch accommodations in central Milan. Breakfast is wonderful and all staff are knowledgeable, customer friendly and make you feel welcome.

"This is the only hotel I will stay whenever I go to Milan for my business trip. I enjoy staying in all the rooms with different design as I have stayed there many time. Good location near metro and with nice restaurant called ""il carpacio"" right opposite the hotel which one must try!"

The room was a bit cold... I suppose the heating system does not work properly... Single beds are not the best in life, but still good quality...The location is very central, 20 mins walking to Duomo... Fitness room was small but an excellent plus. I would come back.

Spaciousness of bathroom, quietness of rooms, great breakfasts. Arriving late at night uncomfortable. First impressions very favorable, good welcome, helpful staff, good location to train station, and metro, and to the central core of Milan.

This hotel was average. The rooms were of modest size and the staff were not particularly friendly. Only use this hotel if you get a really good deal. Not sure its a real 4* hotel.

Hotel is convenient to all the sights and public transportation, but is located on a pleasantly quiet street. There is no parking for guests with cars. But they did make safe parking arrangements for our car. This hotel met and exceeded my expectations. The staff was professional and kind. The complimentary breakfast was more than other hotels offer. If I needed anything all I needed to do was ask any of the staff. I highly recommend this hotel. I will visit again.
