I had a great stay at the Saint Etienne, great location, great food.

Very good value for money. Just beside the shrine. Staff very friendly and efficient.

The hotel room had no air conditioning system and considering it was hot with no breeze - air con' was a necessary element for us......and as a result had many sleepless nights. The bed sheets were not changed at all for the entire 1 week. The carpet in the bedroom was absolutely disgusting - they sure need a desperate clean considering the hotel does allow pets!!

there are budget hotels that give pleasant stays as well. this hotel is not one of them. the rooms are tiny, no TV in the room, phone is not working, and a very unfriendly nighwatch who insists on speaking spanish only. i had to ,ove out the next day to Ambassadeur Hotel, which treated hotel guests properly.
