Great locationThe hotel is ideally situated for anyone wanting to be close by to the major attractions. Situated at the top end of Las Ramblas, it was great if you just wanted to pop out for a bit of sightseeing etc but was close enough to get back to to drop off your shopping. We had a suite on the front so it was a little noisy at night but not too bad. The suite was great, spacious with a lovely bathroom which had a spa bath. Would definitely recommend

Hotel was very good, location excellent for tourists, BUT be aware of the con artists, pickpockets, and other assorted scum who operate in vast numbers in this area. If i ever visit again i will pack a Kalashnikov in my bag.

The hotel is located close to Catalunya metro station, a large room, with a double bed, plus a lounge area with 2 bed settees and large bathroom. would stay there again. Easy checkin - no problems encountered. only there for 2 nights, but it was fine.

The hotel was very easy to get to, just a few steps from the metro. at P.za Catalunya. The staff was extremely helpful. We stayed at the bar when some went to the rooms, also there was a nice athmosphere.We had a room with balcony at the back of the hotel (very quit) and one without balcony at the Rambla side (very nice view but a bit noisy). Advice would be: Ask for a r5oom on the 4th or 5th floor on the Rambla side. We had a great breackfast buffet just across the street for 9 euro.

We booked a room for 3. the third bed was actually the sofa. At £151.00 this was definately not what I expected. No staff at the bar and reception was a long drawn out affair. The spa facilities were not working either. Perhaps we were unlucky. Have stayed at better hotels in Barcelona for less than half the price.

This hotel was situated in an excellent position on the Ramblas. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the room as it was very small. It also did not have any curtains on window so we were woken extremely early in the morning. We did not sample the restaurant or leisure facilities so unable to comment. The reception staff were friendly enough but did not tell us about any of the facilities / times for breakfast etc on check in which would have been helpful. I felt that it was not worth the money paid and would recommend their other Hotel, The Ambassador, as I have stayed there before and it was much nicer and is situated only a few minutes off the Ramblas.

The Hotel was in a very good location directly on the La rambla close to the top near catalunya square but within easy walking distance to all tourist attractions, the room was sapcious and clean and in our party of three couples we had three different rooms on different floors on the front and back and all agreed the rooms were well soundproofed, maids cleaned the rooms everyday and the reception were helpful when required. Cafe next door la Moka good value for money and was our fisrt stop on a morning as we were room only, to add to this we had a supermarket directly across the street if we needed it.

I have stayed at this hotel before and really looked forward to going back. I am sorry to say that I was not convinced by the quality of the hotel this time. On the other hand - the location is perfect.

The 'Express' breakfast was sufficient for us, and was good value. However, we were all four very disappointed in the quality of our dinner in the restaurant. Fortunately there are several restaurants within easy walking distance.
