The offer (book without money back) was equivalent to standard minus breakfast. I think it is worst than standard.

Eventhough we reservated the hotel 5 months before arrival, we were contacted by the hotel one week before arrival with the message that we only could stay there 3 nights and not the 5 we reservated because of renovation... But since we were 8 people travelling together we could stay anyway after some discussion. But a Great hotel with the perfect location in Rome!!

Fantastic position. Loved the rooftop restaurant and bar. Rooms were great, staff very friendly and helpful. A great stay.

We spent three nights/4 days in Rome at the beginning of our trip. My husband had never been abroad...I had been to Rome a few years previous to this trip and fell in love with the area around Piazza Navona. When I found the Hotel Raphael Rome, I knew it would be prefect for the both of us. The staff at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, and helpful in every possible way. The roof top terrace was a wonderful place (albeit a little pricey for drinks, but the food was amazing) to have cocktails and dinner. I can understand, however, why many people are discouraged as to why the room rate does not include a continental breakfast, as the majority of the other hotels do. Other than that, we do not have any complaints!! Say hello to Dario on the roof top!! Always the gentleman. Grazie!! Grazie!!

Best location in Rome, 10 minutes to the Vatican, 25 minutes to Trevi Fountain, and 30 minute walk to the Coliseum. Hotel was perfect.

Hotel is in a wonderful location but very expensive. Good clean medium size room with small bathroom. Choice at breakfast should have been better. Roof top restaurant, open to the public, meant that residents could not gurantee a table for drinks.

We loved the location and the service was excellent. We walked everywhere we wanted to go from the Raphael. The hotel is a beautiful old hotel on the outside and a renewed modern facility within. People who want comfort and convenience and are willing to spend a little more will be very happy here.

This is an excellent hotel in a quiet corner of a very central location. Without doubt the best hotel I've used in Rome. Would recommend without hesitation.

The Raphael exceeded our expectations. Upon mentioning we would be celebrating our anniversary while in Rome, we were given a room upgrade. The staff was nothing but friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel could not have been better, with wonderful antique shops and delightful, romantic restaurants just seconds away. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this magical place.

Expensive hotel in great location but prices are too high in relationship with what you get. Primarily you pay the hotel's good name and service, the really excellent location and one of the best roof-terraces in Rome. Especially standard rooms and bathrooms are very narrow. Separate billed breakfast for EUR 26/Person/day too expensive and does not pay out. Picasso plate collection is fantastic, but I can't see the benefit for the customer paying for it.

There were three minor problems in an otherwise excellent experience: mold on the wall over the shower, a rattle in the air conditioning unit, and no breakfast included in the price. Every other hotel we stayed at in Italy included continental breakfast, and the Raphael was the most expensive place we stayed.

Sehr gute zentrale Lage;sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet; wunderbare Dachterrasse, Essen etwas teuer, aber viele Restaurants in der Nähe Auf Wahl zwischen alten und neuen Zimmer hinweisen.

we had a ten year wedding anniversary and chose Rome for its beatufil climate and scenery for our celebration, Raphael with its location, good amenities and excellent service fitted perfectly into our plans and imaginations, we would defininately recommend the hotel for other couples

Too expensive. Breakfast is not included as usual and it is also very expensive. The service I got when check in was very bad. They did not show any interest in really helping a customer. It's a shame to have so good location and so bad service.

We stayed at the Raphael twice during our trip to Italy, for the first four days of the trip then two days at the end. Although both rooms were small, they were both cozy, romantic and wonderfully furnished. The location is great, right off the Piazza Navona and close to everything. Althoguh the hotel is located in a very noisy area, we never heard any street noise inside the hotel. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to assist you ( special thanks to Yurien and Domenico)....susnet from the rooftop terrace is not to be missed. We would return to the Raphael in a heartbeat!

The best.
