Paris Behaving BadlyThis hotel is well situated and walking distance from the Tower and a couple of nice road-side cafe's. That's where the good news stops! The hotel manageress has a very careless attitude, and it seems, has not yet found the time to consult the handbook on customer relationship management. Apparently, "the hotel is not the countryside, it is Paris" - which means one should not expect them to take any responsibility for the comfort levels of their customers. I paid for comfortable, uninterrupted rest in-between my tourist activities with my girlfriend; however that is not what I got - nor did they care.Don't stay there if you expect to get what you pay for.

The first impression of the hotel was not that appealing but the front office staff was very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed had Eiffel tower views but the facilities were below average. The shower/bath drain was blocked and the air conditioner did not work either. I had to open the window to get some sleep but the noice was too much early mornings. The location of the hotel was very good and easy access to any where in Paris. I would give 3 out of 5.

I thought the cost far outweighed the quality of the hotel having stayed in Paris before. the reception and other staff were exemplary and could not be criticised.

The friendly, helpful staff; the view of the Eiffel Tower and hotel location cannot compensate for the compact size of the room; the pricing; the sounds heard through the adjoining walls, and the noises from the road and the railway opposite the hotel.

I found the hotel quite nice and in a pleasant and convenient location. I thought that the price of 200 EURO was however excessive but I was in Paris for business and had to be close to the Exhibition Centre for 2 nights. When I arrived they told me that they had given away my room, despite the fact that I had written on my online reservation I would check in later in the evening. I didn't expect this to happen as Ramada is an international chain that is usually quite reliable. However, the staff in this hotel proved extremely unhelpful: even after admitting that they had "forgotten" to read my comments, they were in no way apologetic at the fact that they had given my room away and it was almost midnight and I did not have a bed! They even refused to let me use the landline to call home, as my mobile was out of battery. In the end I managed to speak to their US customer service (!) and they put me up for one night in an awful hotel nearby. I stayed at the Ramada the next day and although the room was spacious and comfortable, the previous day's experience had really left a bad taste in my mouth!

Rooms, perhaps, could do with a little refreshing on decor, although they were very clean. Location is excellent for the `Metro`, Eiffel Tower, and Seine boat cruises. Staff very pleasant. No noise apparent, which in a big city hotel is very good. Supermarket close to hotel for those `conveniences`. Good selection of restaurants and shops locally. Bear in mind Paris is expensive !

The hotel was in a good location, the service was excellent and room was very nice, the only problem was that the air conditioning didnt work so it was very hot. We had a room next to the railway line but it was not very loud and we had no problems sleeping through it! Would stay again, overall very nice.

Great location, walk to Eiffel Tower, great shops and transport and food nearby, but expensive for what it is, even in Paris.
