Hotel Pueblo Dorado

This ideally located hotel was renovated in 2006 and comprises a total of 29 rooms. There is a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange facility, Internet access, a TV room, and laundry and room services (charges apply). There is an entertainment room beside the terrace with a view of the sea. Diners Club, American Express, VISA and MasterCard are all accepted as methods of payment. The restaurant offers 6 kinds of breakfast, as well as international dishes. It does not belong directly to the hotel but is just around 25 m away. Guests can, however, also make use of the fully equipped kitchen area in the hotel. The rooms each come with an en suite bath/ shower with hot running water and a hairdryer. As well as a direct dial telephone, all rooms are equipped with a cable TV, Internet access, room safe, a double bed or 2 single beds and a terrace with a view of the hotel's own beautiful garden. The air conditioning is individually adjustable. The hotel is situated on Playa Tamarindo, just around 25 m from the white sandy beach. Guests can use a path over the bridge to the estuary directly opposite the hotel. The centre of Tamarindo is around 800 m away. There are also a variety of restaurants, bars and shopping venues as well as nightlife close to the hotel. It is worth taking a trip into Costa Rica's capital San Jose, which is around 300 km away. The journey there takes about 5 hours by car, or 45 minutes by plane.
