Not a bad location for the basic tourist sites and rooms were modern. Desk personnel were not much help re advice and tried to steer us to obvious tourist traps. For some reason the hotel thought it was a good idea to charge 3 euros for the fresh orange juice at the supposedly included breakfast. A small thing but very annoying. They also charge 30 euros for the implied free airport pick up. They did have free internet access via a pc in the lobby.

The best thing about the hotel is their location. All sightseeing within walking distance. Also the tram is around the corner. The hotel itself is in a quiet side street. What we did not like were all the hidden extras. They charge you EUR 3,50 for fresh orange juice and EUR 3 for an omelette. The breakfast is not spectacular. The room is neat and small. The bathroom did not have a bath stopper for the tub, no shower/bath gel, no bodylotion. The gym was not open, everything was dark there in the basement. After enquiry at the reception we were told we had to tell them 10 minutes in advance so they could prepare the gym. Cost EUR 10 per person. We never saw the gym as we decided not to use it. Pool billiard cost EUR 6. This is not a 4 star hotel. We paid EUR 150 and were not happy with all the extra costs.

I stayed there last moth and I enjoyed so much. Staffs are so friendly and my room was perfect and I could visited lots of historical places in Sultanahmet. The location was great because I walked to everywhere. If you want to spent a wonderful time in Istanbul, you should go to Hotel Prince.

hotel location in Sirkeci is extremely good for the tourist close to the historical attractions as well as eminonu and spice bazaarfor shopping and restaurants. Safe area for family and young children With nice rooms, Attendents at the hotel were very hospitable and very helpful. Careful fresh orange juice at breakfast bar incurs an extra charge which is not mentioned.

Maybe in one or two years the hotel will deserve a better rating But just now it is very close to an area where there are a lot of construction work and you have to adjust to the dust and noise, difficult access by car. Also, people from the reception desk are not helpful all the time. Sometimes they seem overwhelmed by their job. Also be aware that you have to pay some extras for the included breakfast, for instance for the fresh orange juice, which it was a surprise.

I stayed there for more than a week. Staff was trying to sell me toursitic stuff (Tours,etc.) every morning. Morning Breakfast was good. Front desk staff for the most part were arrogant or at least unfriendly to put it midly. They gave me a room that was facing a backyard or some depot or something with not much lite. When I complained they moved me (to their credit), but again the room wasn't even at the level of a typical 2 star hotel you expect in US. Front desk stafff was rude. I tried to go to my room with my friend around 11 AM and they said, i can't take any guest to my room (mind you it was during the day). When I complained to the manager, manger was worst. Manger was so rude, that I walked out of the hotel right away and left 2 days of my fully paid unused. Don't get fooled by the pictures,
