Aged travellers in paradise! One of our best hotel experiences ever, as a pair of aged travellers. State of the Art decor and facilities, excellent food, helpful staff, perfect location. We had no idea what this hotel would be like and it exceeded all expectations. Would meet the needs of all travellers, young or old.Despite lots of immediate repair works going on, this did not detract from the experience. these are the hotels of the future.

I have nothing but praise for the location, decor, helpful staff, onsite breakfast, in room laptop with internet access. The only minor negative comment is the bed mattresses would slid around on the bed frame. I would highly recommend this hotel. Other comments complained about lack of parking but we didn't have a car and could very comfortably walk everywhere we needed to go in town. We took the bus to go to a neighboring town for 5 Euros.

Can not drive up to the hotel with your own car because the road is closed. The hotel is located just next to the Plaza Continental which is closed for trafic

Loved it - right in the centre of Malaga's old quarter - if you get a room facing the courtyard its really quiet - but in seconds you are right in the heart of a lovely area - near the cathedral, the main shopping avenue, Calle Marquis de Larios, eight minutes from the Picasso Museum. Hi tech room, laptop etc. Couldnt really fault it. We have stayed there three times now.

Modern Hotel in the Centre of the Old CityPetit Palace is ideally situated just off a beautiful pedestrian shopping avenue and Plaza de la Constitucion. It is tastefully modernised, clean and very comfortable and I would stay there again on a return trip. We were room only and ate all our meals out. Hotel is in heart of old town and so all the visitor attractions are walkable, with lots of bars and cafes on the doorstep. 5 minutes walk to bus stops for markets and also eg for Benalmadena, 40 mins away. Presently roadworks in lanes outside front and back of hotel, start at 8 am and finish around 6pm. Rather noisy and dusty. Lots of upgrading and building works going on throughout the City.

The Petit Palace was great, right in the heart of central Málaga, so it was easy to get to all the tourist attractions and the beaches. The only drawback is that it's difficult to find. It's tucked back away on a tiny side street off the main calle Marques de Larios, but if you aren't looking really closely, you can walk past it once or twice. But otherwise, the room was great, breakfast was really good (although not free), the hotel overall was very nice and modern. and the staff was really friendly. I would recommend staying here, especially in the quadruple room, for example, if you are traveling with children or a group. Our quadruple had a full size bed (my parents slept there) and then my brother and I took the bunk beds on the other side of the room...there's even a privacy curtain that drops down to seperate those two sides of the room. Also, if you park in one of the parking structures close by, bring your ticket to the front desk and they will give you a discounted rate. Overall, nice place!

Lacks a bar in the hotel, but plenty local ones near by.

A hotel to recommendThis was a very pleasant place to stay, and very convenient for the centre of Malaga. It was about 20 minutes walk from the train station. It was, however, not easy to find, and your instructions were not very accurate. Your maps are appalling.

Excellent location in the historic center and near the Cathedral and Alcazaba. Clean hotel with modern but cheap furniture. Staff was excellent and breakfast on the expensive side.

Superb situation. This hotel is in the very middle of the most fashionable part of Malaga although short of facilities like bar etc the rooms are excellent and the area abounds with eating places and bars

Great place, impressive building, most enjoyable. This hotel is in a fantastic spot. The building is impressive, inside and out. The exterior is a beautiful old building, whilst inside everything is bang up-to-the-minute and very tastefully done. The breakfast at 10 Euros was good quality and value.

The first room we were given was very small and claustrophobic but when I spoke with reception they were very helpful and immediately changed it for a more spacious one. The staff were indeed extremely helpful and courteous throughout our stay

An excellent hotel but a nightmare to get to if you are travelling by car. It is in the middle of a pedestrian area - if you are going by car it is best to park in the underground carpark called Camo and then walk to the hotel. It is in a side street just oof the Plaza Constitution beside the Mango shop. We only got this info after phoning the hotel. It would have saved an hour if this information had been available. Once there the hotel is excellent - great location.

The room was a bit "spartan". Just the bare minimums. We would hae enjoyed a comfortable chair to sit in and a table, a bed side clock would have been appropriate for a High tech hotel too!

The two downsides were:* the twin beds were not fixed so that easily slid apart* the bathrroom door was nmon-existent - just a glass partition

Very good location near cathederal, and principal shopping street. Excellent room with a number of high tech. facilities, and funky decor. Room was quiet, and breakfast satisfactory, though service was a bit overwhelmed by number of guests at time. Reception was helpful.
