On the western entrance to Ehrwald (coming from Reutte or Garmisch) look for the sign "Tiroler Zugspitzbahn" at the Esso service station. Follow this sign for approx. 1 km. Then turn right in the direction of "Wettersteinbahnen". From there, it's about 200 m to the Tannenhof.
