In 1969, the Hotel Papa Germano was a small family managed inn. Over time, the business has grown to become a two star hotel, recommended by numerous international travel guides. With the help of a friendly, qualified staff, the family continues to manage the hotel with the same enthusiasm and passion as in the past. The hotel is located in the center of Rome on a quiet secondary street only a few minutes from the "Roma Termini" central train station, the main departure point for reaching the city's major tourist attractions, historical monuments (the Coliseum and Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Via Veneto, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and the Spanish Steps), city airports (Ciampino and Fiumicino Leonardo Da Vinci) and the Vatican City (St, Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel). The hotel was recently renovated, and has rooms both with and without private bathrooms, all of which are with the finest amenities (telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning and hairdryer). Furthermore, in order to meet the needs of young travelers and students, a portion of the building is used as a youth hostel with common sleeping quarters (dormitories) with truly convenient prices (maximum 3-4 beds, all with standard amenities). The hotel offers a large continental breakfast served buffet style every morning, an internet point and a free baggage depository at the reception.
