My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. I was surprised they had no laundry/dry cleaning facilities. The airline soaked my luggage and the hotel had no way for me to get the clothes dry. The room was not spotless, but it was ok. The staff were all very friendly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was great. Rooms clean. The hotel was right across from Georgetown. A short distance away they had some outdoor dining options. Close to D.C. Very nice area of the city. Walked around the block at 6:30 in the morning by myself and felt comfortable. Beautiful rooms, very soothing. Great experience. Would stay again.

We were less than impressed with the hotel staff. There were a couple of staff members who would go above and beyond; but for the most part, we felt like we were an inconvenience to them. The room was nice and comfortable with great modern decor. The highlight of the hotel was their wine shop.

We loved this hotel. We traveled with our 14 year old daughter. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was a very short walk to the Metro which was important to us. There a two popular fastfood resteraunts across the street, which is important if you are on a budget as we were! The Palomar's resteraunt has a breakfast but it was a bit pricey. ( for 3 of us! including tip). If you are visiting for the July 4th activities and you want to see the fireworks without the huge crowds on the Mall, you can take a short walk from the Palomar to the Key Bridge and get a great view of the fireworks! We would definately stay here again!

This is a great hotel if you're visiting friends or family in the DC suburbs. Bethesda is a short and easy drive away. The hotel is pet-friendly, and easy to navigate. Rooms are contemporary and well-stocked, with terrific beds. Great value if you're looking for class outside of DC.

The staff was very frendly, and helpful. The resturant was not what expected for a four star, not open on the weekends either.

What a pleasure to stay here! I don't know what made our stay more enjoyable - the amazing staff or the amazing room? I will choose the staff - polite, professional and proficient! If you had a question, you received an answer. No one was 'too busy' to be polite. My husband enjoyed the wine tasting in the 'living room', and the proximity to the Metro was perfect.

The hotel was VERY nice. Everything that I expected. The location was perfect, just 2 blocks from the metro station which is the best way to get around D.C. There are several resturants within walking distance of the hotel. I highly recomend this hotel. If we ever go back we will difinetly stay here again.

We were in town for our brother's wedding. We were unfamiliar with the metro rail and the hotel staff was phenomenal with helping us out. Everyone we asked was accommodating, helpful, polite and knowledgeable. The rooms were not quite as spectacular as the pictures implied but they were beautiful nonetheless.

Well equipped with nice decor and friendly staff. Too many elevators to get to your room.

Great hotel. Very secure and comfortable. Informed and reliable concierge. Metro Block and a half away - only way to travel in D.C. Seemed a little pricey when I booked it but turned out to be well worth the extra bucks. Nice to be pampered a little. We opted to eat in town so no info on food in hotel. Nice river view.

Great location, very nice and helpful staff. No pool. Great location with nice views of the Potomac. Within walking distance of food and not far from nice restaurants. Very convenient to the metro (within walking distance). Over all, very nice hotel. The only thing missing was a pool.

Staff was incredible! Would definitely recommend this hotel, and I am VERY picky! Everything was great EXCEPT the ability to get sundry items - Cokes, snacks, etc. Had a mini bar in room but only a few items & expensive. They need Coca Cola products!!! Other than that, fabulous hotel!!

Very good hotel overall. Worth the money. Very clean. Nice and helpful staff. Quiet, restful, and pleasant environment. Just a few minutes drive from all the center of action in DC but too far to walk. This is the best hotel if you want want access to DC, Virginia, and Maryland. You can find day parking in DC and walk the rest of your tour which isn't too bad. It's actually nice to get in the car and sit after a long day of walking in DC. Will definitely consider this hotel again.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was lovely and clean. Wine reception was too early. The hotel was very easy to drive into and the staff was excellent.

I wondered how we got such a good price on an almost brand new, very nice hotel. Our room was directly across from the elevators (didn't matter, it was sooo quiet) and we had no view from our window (there was a walkway around the building there and a metal wall five feet high so we could only look up to neighboring highrises). The poor view didn't matter either as we were there to tour D.C. and spent very little daylight time in the room. It was clean and beautifully decorated and close to the subway station. There is free coffee and tea in the morning and probably twelve restaurants (mostly fast food/ food court kinds) within easy walking distance.

The Hotel Palomar is very convenient for us as it is close to our daughter's residence and in addition we get the benefit of very comfortable rooms an outstanding staff who goes out of their way to make you welcome and comfortable and last, a good value for our dollars spent. We definitely would look forward to staying there again.
