Almost got it right.This hotel was quite good except for the booking in procedure, it seems a complete waste of time making your reservation on line as when you arrive it's exactly the same as walking in off the street, form filling from scratch and if you decide to pay cash as i did and you don't have PHOTO I.D as i didn't, then you have a great big problem, all that saved me was that my colleague did have foto ID. Would i stay at Novotel again? Maybe, but check in procedures need addressing urgently.

Service with a smileFrom booking in to leaving it was a pleaseant experience. Even the cleaning staff on the morning had a warm greeting when they saw you.The Room was clean, the food excellent.

Check receipt Booked and confirmed room rate at £59.00 with Laterooms. Check receipt from Novotel had been charged £69.00. Contacted Hotel and was told a possible mistake by Laterooms ( I don't think so )

nothing can beat 50 quid a night in a spotlessly clean place, the guy on the desk will give you a room if theres no big events on, normal rates 109 a night

excellent !!!!we stayed for a bank holiday week end break as we had family to visit near by, All staff very friendly. Can't fault the service. Room very clean. Family friendly hotel and excellent facilities.

really surprised I had not stayed in a Novotel for years and this was booked for me. The room was big with its own comfortable sofa, different room for loo, and basin/shower so convenient for double occupency. airy and light. The bathroom was very contemporary.No complaints

Family room, but very tight squeeze with 2 teenage children.Don't know if it was LateRooms error or the Hotel's, but I was charged in error for the wrong date 05/04 when I obviously didn't attend on that date. When I rang to quiery it I did receive an appology, but was asked if I wanted to leave the payment to pay in advance for the actual stay.

a twin room is one bed and a sofa bed which takes up the entire floor space making it feel like you're in a caravan. apparnetly 'all the rooms are like this' and when i suggested that perhaps it is unreasonable to expect people to pay to sleep on a sofa i was met with an extremely unhelpful manager who said i could go and stay in another hotel if i liked but i'd be lucky if i got one within 25 miles. remarkable. you need to buzz at the gate to get in after 8pm and at 23.45 my collegue and i were standing outside buzzing for some time until a car came out and we went in that way. desk unmanned.

Hotel, room & breakfasts were excellent, great value for money. Would definately recommend. Only point worth noting was evening meal probably too expensive for what you get but plenty of alternatives in the area. All in all an excellent hotel.

Good 3* AccommodationStay 3 or 4 times a year, always good and clean. Helpful, pleasant staff. Breakfast is now a bit pricey; however, Fri/Sat room rate is competitive.

Found the room to be very clean and comfortable. Was impressed with the security of the hotel when returning from evening out had to use intercom to gain entrance. We were pleased with the amenities provided in the room bathroom was of a good standard and the bed was very comfortable overall we would recomond this hotel

Fine for a business trip - not my ideal holiday hotel

Good location of hotel next to the M60 and the food was good but to be told there was a 40 minute wait when things didn't seem that busy was a bit of a put off.I wouldn't pay my own money to stay there but not bad for business use.
