Would stay here again...Excellent value for money, we booked via laterooms last minute. Better then anticipated. Breakfast was included, lots of variety for buffet breakfast, dined at the restaurant, food was lovely. Staff were very helpful. Didn't use the leisure facilities although they looked good. Only gripe was, housekeeping didn't change the duvet my 10 month year old had been a bit sick on so we stripped the bed ourselves! However, the hotel has free parking, which is bonus and close to milton keynes central, couldn't ask for much more really.

Like an expensive Travel Lodge with a poolWe did not disliked our stay, the room was qutie dated and £12 for 2 glasses of orange juice was VERY over priced, apart from that it was okay. Also could do with a bit more of a clean thick layers of dust places!I wont be staying again as it was very much like a travellodge but this hotel had a lovely looking reception as you walk in,...and thats it!...And a very cold child unfriendly pool!

Serves a PurposeWe stayed here as we were attending F1 at Silverstone. The location was ideal with it being only a short drive to the circuit and at night we popped into town for a meal at Wagamama which was less than a 5 minute drive. The hotel is functional, nothing special. You wouldn't stay here as somewhere special, it's more the type of hotel you would use when away on business for one night. All the basics you would expect in your room, if anything the hotel needs a bit of modernisation in the shared areas and corridors and room smelt a little old and fausty.

FantasticThe staff at the hotel were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean and the pool and steam rooms were briliant. The food was so tasty, best chips ever! Have stayed at this hotel for 4 times now and have never been dissapointed.

Forgetting something??All in all a good stay two things that made my stay less enjoyable were i ordered a bottle champagne to be delivered to the room about four days before my arrival when i arrived it was not there and then i was told they had none in stock! I did receive a free bottle of sparkling wine as a good will gesture. The other problem i had was young children running up and down the corridor at around midnight not really the hotels fault.

A good overnight stay with breakfastA discount on the standard double room price made this good value. It was very quiet so it didn't feel like a business traveller hotel, but did provide the service.

the only problem i had during my stay was getting into the hotel after a night out. It would seem the night porter may have been asleep. It took me 20 mins to get into the Hotel through the security gate.

Family Easter BreakWe stayed at the Novotel in Milton Keynes as we have stayed there before and knew that it was central to our families who we were visiting, as well as being clean, friendly etc. The carparking is excellent, as some places you have to pay and display and then walk to the hotel. We didnt use the leisure facilities this time but have in the past. A nice clean hotel, only down side is the cost of the breakfast! We never stay to eat as it is too expensive, especially when there are local supermarkets that provide the same things at half the cost.

Good value hotel, conveniently located close to the 'Theatre District' in Milton Keynes. Modern reception area with a good bar and plenty to choose from in the restaurant at breakfast. Room was clean and neatly made up. On the downside, a cheese and ham toasted sandwich ordered from room service at 8.30pm took nearly 40 minutes to arrive. It wasn't worth the wait!

I was very disapointed with the reaction I got from the bar staff when I returned to the hotel around midnight. I fancied a glass of wine to finish off the night on a high note with my wife, my sister in law and her friend. I was told that the bar was closed, even though there were people sitting in the bar, who quite clearly from the amount in their glasses had just been served. I challenged the bar staff by informing him that as a guest of the hotel I was entitled to a drink to have in my room. I was told by the bar staff that this was not true and I subsequently went to bed without a drink. This did put a sour end to the evening. I asked at the checkout desk in the morning if the bar staff were correct and I wasn't entitled to a drink and they said the bar staff were wrong not to let me have a drink. I feel that this cast a shadow over my stay there.

Shame about the dinnerDinner in restaurant not good value for money -I ordered lamb as a main course £15 & it was very fatty not much meat, potatoes were overcooked, carrots very thinly sliced and just a few broad beans - glad I wasn't very hungry. I complained to F&B manager who dealt with it very well. I was offered something else and was not charged for the lamb.Breakfast was fine. Room very spacious and comfortable.

Great customer service - good roomThe room was very nice, although annoyingly the toilet was separate to the bathroom (which meant it was very small and difficult to negotiate when heavily pregnant!). The whole hotel was far too hot, but a letter to the manager the next day was answered within a couple of hours and an excellent response was given. Very impressed with the customer service. Breakfast - for a self-service breakfast I was very impressed - great selection of hot and cold. Wouldn't have paid for it if it weren't included as was as overpriced as most hotels.

An excellent hotel central to Milton Keynes. Good facilities and very clean and modern. The only issue I had was that the restaurant was severely lacking staff and those in charge were completely ineffective and lacking any direction. I had 2 excellent meals and one meal I could barely hold down.
