Good Standard RoomClean and standard, no frills but slept well here. Would recommend for a night's stay. Not much round and about though. OK for a base.

My wife and I were very pleased with the Novotel room and service, except for the bathroom. The bath was so high my wife who had had knee surgery 8 weeks ago was unable to get into it to either have a bath or shower and the water went from cold to very hot. We did mention this at reception in case the next person scalded themselves with the water.Room 461

Air Conditioning / FoodAir Conditioning in room very noisy.Steak very fatty and breakfast did not include all stated on menu, e.g. apples and bannans not available on fruit selection.

NOVOTEL, LEEDS CENTRE. WHAT A SURPRISE!I recently stayed at the Novotel, Leeds centre, what a lovely place. Staff were very welcoming, well trained and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful, full english or continential, the choice was excellent. I would stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Very clean and modern hotel.Have used this hotel before and would use again. Good location for access to the city centre on foot.

Perfect for business tripsVery convenient for Leeds Central train station. Functionally-decorated modern hotel as expected but the room was quite large, comfortable and clean, and staff on the whole were helpful and friendly. Only minor complaint for me was that breakfast was a bit disorganised, and very overpriced if not included in the cost of the room.

Leeds NovotelVery pleasant surprise. Modern, clean, well designed, in a quiet backwater but very close to Centre and, more importantly for us, the University.

The hotel is very well located and the accommodation is good for the price. Breakfast is too dear.

Staff were welcoming and efficient and the surroundings very pleasant. A particular pleasure was the lack of extraneous noise from rooms next door, or above, and the corridor - it is obviously a solidly constructed building or has good soundproofing, either way a huge plus point! Lovely large bed, separate bathroom and loo and a tasty breakfast made the overnight stay a very pleasant experience.

Lovely fresh bagettes for breakfast. Close to city centre for walking and access to TIC at railway station.

Close to train station and city centre. Poor pedestrian sinage from staion - had to follow road signs. Not asked for room prefernces and was alloacted a room without wifi - only floors 1 and 2 have wifi. Position is excelent for running as it next to the Leeds / Liverpool canal. Staff gave no adivce on the gym or breakfast - needed to prompt them. Room fine except lack of wifi - dated tv, no hotel information and lack of coffee.

Phil Davies ReviewEnjoyed the stay. Excellent customer service at reception and in the bar. Staff were very friendly and courteous. My only adverse comment (and this relates to many large hotels): how to get the room cooler. The windows are secured such that no through draft is possible.

Novotel Leeds CentralLoved the hotel, family room had a sofa bed which turned into 2 single beds. We did have to remind the front desk to prepare the extra beds but when it was done, they were made to a high standard. All of the staff we came into contact with were great, the receptionist on the front desk even provided my 2 girls with some little toys at check in.Breakfast was available as room service for a nominal extra charge which was well worth it.

Leeds NovotelThe hotel is clean, comfortable and modern. The food was good and the staff friendly. Also quite convenient for the railway station. The only thing I would fault was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms (the windows do open but have restraints). Also the hotel is just a little too far out from the city centre and there were very few places around the hotel to eat and drink.

When is a twin not a twin?Bit disappointed that the room was sold as a twin room but one of the beds was actually a \"put me up\" bed settee that none of us particularly wanted to sleep on. It also didn't have a duvet on it, just a sheet and blanket. Took us a while to work out how to empty the bathroom sink of water as the mechanism was situated underneath the basin. No coffee or milk in the room to make a drink! Directions to the hotel were very poor and we got hopelessly lost. Reception took ages to answer the phone and gave us very sparse directions, which we didn't find that helpful.

Fabulous family week-end stayI found the hotel to be welcoming, friendly, to a very high standard, we had a very enjoyable stay in a lovely, environment, fabulous hotel room. Would highly recommend it this to anyone wanting to stay in Leeds and I would book in again.
