Very misleading, cheap hotel. The photos of the pool were made for it to appear larger than they were. They did not provide coffee for the room except for the first night, then you have to purchase it from them. The one elevator smelled horrible and the room was dirty. I will NEVER recommend anyone staying at this hotel. I developed a rash from the dirty pool. The pool area was scattered with lime peels,sunflower seeds and various other trash. The "private" balcony was anything but private.

The description and photo for the indoor pool is deceiving! Pool is the size of a large jacuzzi and the water in the pool was dirty and "murky" in appearance. Very unappealing! The towels in the rooms are thread bare, small and have a chemical odor. Unpleasant! Cameras are present EVERYWHERE and give the guest an uneasy feeling of lack of privacy, I felt this in my "private" room too. Not worth the money to stay here!!

The pillows were nice. To enjoy the ocean view you will need x-ray specks. My daughter enjoyed counting the thread bare holes in the curtain. Roof top pool hasn't been used in years. The entire place smelled like Axe body spray, and never expect any extra consideration, it won't be forth coming.

I was very disappointed with the Hotel Monte Carlo. I feel that the hotel is very run down considering it is only eight years old. Our screendoor was broke, the remote control for the TV was broke and the toilet was broke. I do not feel that you get your money's worth, in fact I think they over charge considering the appearance of this place. And if I never smell Subway again it will be too soon. The whole hotel smells like a big baking sandwich. And at 8 am that is not too appealing.

Easy to be on the boardwalk or beach within minutes - just walk out of the hotel and up the ramp. Hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke/understood English. Rooftop hot tub was great. Rooftop pool is large, 3 feet deep, excellent for the kids. Indoor pool is small but my kids loved it - great for evenings or rainy days. Our room was ocean view and large enough for our family of 6. Hotel parking lots were very close/easy to get into. Overall a very nice place to stay and reasonable rates considering what other hotels on the same strip cost.

We had a great first time experience with this hotel.The room was nice and clean and the room fit 4 comfortably.The kids enjoyed the 2 pools and the hot tub.The only thing the room was lacking was a safe utensils and dishes.

The family and I stayed here last August. The outdoor pool located on roof deck was simply fantastic. The panoramic views were breathtaking. The rooftop hot tub was very relaxing and provided the perfect end to the day. The Indoor pool was great for the kids. Parking was only concern but we managed quite well. The rooms were the cleanest i have ever experianced in Ocean City. The staff from checkin to checkout was extremely courteous and helpful. We intend on returning this summer again.
