The Hotel Moderno Verdi, GENOVA, Italy, oozed with old world charm. The elevator, a glass sided room with beautiful wood trim was charming. The breakfast was sumptuous, The desk staff all spoke English and were very helpful. I definately recommend this hotel.

Great location, excellent service, lovely rooms. I would stay there again. The staff was very helpful and the location was perfect. We could walk from there to great sites and attractions. I loved it. The rooms are lovely with beautiful woodwork.

The hotel reception was rude. We arrived at 13:40 and were told we could not have our room until 14:00 regardless of it being ready. The room had a very small. The room smelled. The view was of someone's clothes line. Horrible. The romm was not clean it was run down and needed a good cleaning. The TV, telephones, euro outlets were outdated. No bath only stand up shower. The room was for one person not two. I believe it once was a 4 star hotel but today it borders 1 to 2 stars.

The hotel was decorated very nicely and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would have liked adjoining rooms because we were two adults and four children.

NIce place if you're booking with a discount. Wouldn't pay full price. Four stars were not obvious. Has air conditioning, close to the station but not too noisy. Pleasant overall.

The Tulip/Moderno Verde Hotel in Genova is a well operated and located hotel to base yourself when visiting Genova. Even though most bathrooms in Europe seem be on the small and compact side these bathrooms were even samller in size with a shower stall small that you can barley scrub and turn around in. No views and the metal shutters do not give you any feeling of luxury and or comfort. However the above average staff make this hotel the best value for business travelers headed for Genova.

The staff was helpful. The bed was so hard! It is in a very convenient location across from the train station and close to shopping and restaurants. The room was very room and the bathroom was large and very nice.

Very close to train station. However we traveled by car and it was difficult to find the car park. The staff was friendly.

Clean and convenient location. We traveled as a family of five (three teens). This hotel was perfect for us in terms of location and quality.
