What are your breakfast options?

We have a full Irish and Continental breakfast buffet each morning served in the Oyster Grill Restaurant. This is served from 7:00 am until 10:00 am during the week and until 10:30 am at weekends. This costs €15 per person and approximately €7 to €9 per child (depending on what they have to eat). There are items available on a separate breakfast menu where the items are ordered direct from the kitchen, such as fish and omelettes. Should a guest be staying overnight, all our rates would include this breakfast buffet.

What transport is available to get around?

Transport to the following locations:
- Centre of town & market: Walking distance as we are located in the city centre on Eyre Square.
- Airpor: Galway Airport is accessible by taxi, approximately a 20-30 minute journey.
- Beach: Located at Salthill. Accessible by walking, approximately a half hour - 40 minute journey. Also accessible by public bus or by driving.

What can I do nearby?

We have entertainment throughout the weekend in the hotel. We have a soloist pianist playing in the lobby area on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon time. There is a 1 man Jazz band in the Oyster Bar on Saturday evenings and a DJ in Fagan’s Bar on Saturday nights. On Sunday at 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm there is a 6 piece Jazz band in the lobby area. All entertainment is complimentary to guests and non-residents.

We have a leisure centre on the fifth floor of the hotel overlooking Galway Bay, which has a gym, Jacuzzi, outdoor Canadian hot-tub and a steam room. This is complimentary to guests. The Square Spa is also located on the fifth floor, where one can book in for treatments and receive complimentary use of the leisure centre.

As we are in the city centre, we are within walking distance of the main streets where all the pubs are located, a number of which have live music daily, from traditional to rock. We are also within walking distance of all the theatres, and a short drive to the cinemas.

The Galway City Museum and the oldest area in Galway – The Claddagh, are about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Galway Cathedral, which was formerly a prison, is about 15 minutes' walk. There are a number of Walking Tours around the city. Salthill and Leisureland Amusement Park are accessible on many of the city bus routes or are about a 30-40 minute walk. The Galway Atlantaquarium is also located in Salthill.

Do you have internet?

Yes, we have wired internet in all bedrooms, and there is a cable provided to connect to your laptop. In our bar and lobby areas we have wireless internet. No passwords are required and both are complimentary to guests.

Do you provide parking?

We have a small car park which can hold about 25 cars (first-come, first-served basis). Upon arrival at the hotel, pull into the drop-off point at the front entrance and car parking availability can be checked for you. Should there be availability, we will valet park your car at a charge of €5.00 for 24 hours. If there is no availability, we will provide you with directions to a nearby multi-storey car park where our guests receive a discounted daily rate. This should cost no more than €8.00 for 24 hours.
