The splendid, traditional Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo is housed within a historical palace located at the heart of Monaco and emanates an ambience typical of a city resort. Surrounded by wonderful lush green gardens, the hotel is located on the Place du Casino, within a few minutes walk of the tourist centre where an array of restaurants, bars and nightclubs are to be found. A wonderful sandy beach as well as the nearest links to the public transport network are about 10 minutes walk away.

The large lobby is furnished and decorated with the most exquisite materials, from the fabrics of the curtains to painted leather panelled doors on either side. There are two marvellous large mirrors in elaborate silver frames behind the concierge desk and on the wall opposite. The floor is laid out with unpolished dark grey and beige stone, and the centre piece of this part of the lobby is a beautiful crystal chandelier. Following on from the lobby is another large lounge area, furnished with comfortable armchairs and sofas and low wooden tables, and situated below a mirrored and glass ceiling. Afternoon teas and snacks are served here. To the left of this lounge is a second very cosy lounge area, which leads to the reception desk.

The public areas and many of the hotel rooms have been completely refurbished with great attention to detail and combining modern with traditional. The materials used come from all over the world creating in their combination an elegant, but still very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel also offers ESPA, luxurious and unique spa facilities spread over 1000 square metres.

Each of the elegant, air-conditioned rooms comes with a spacious en suite bathroom with a bathtub and hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a minibar, a double or king-sized bed, a hire safe and a balcony or terrace. All the rooms offer the latest in modern comfort and technology, whilst maintaining a traditional setting. They medium sized and in exceptional condition.

The hotel's main restaurant is located on the ground floor, it follows on from the hotel bar. It is beautifully decorated in a style combining modern and traditional creating a very warm and welcoming atmospere. In the back of the restaurant is the open kitchen.
