Staff were the most helpful, friendly and polite team i have seen in many years travelling.Room was large, clean and everything was working.The mini-bar was free and included a selection of waters, beers and softdrinks , very nice touch.

Thew staff was helpful & courteous. The architecture & lobby were gorgeous. It is close to The Grand Place and a few steps from the Metro.

I loved the feeling when I first walked in. The hotel is the oldest in Brussels, and it is very well kept. It is elegant and warm. I loved sitting in the lobby bar area drinking a cappacinno at the end of the night and listening to the piano player. The grande place is in walking distance as are many other squares. I would also recommend a walk to Le Sablon. Getting around is very easy the train station (Le Central) is also in walking distance. It was a lovely stay. I was also impressed with the buffet breakfast which was included. The taxi ride to the airport is 40 euro, not bad at all. The train is much cheaper but I had an early flight home. I would stay there again. I loved it.

fantastic hote. so convenienent for shopping and sightseeing. stayed here several times and at different times of the year but christmas is special. the hotel looks so impressive. friendly, warm. inviting, helpfull. have reccomended this hotel. will be back soon. top marks.

Hotel Metropole - Terrible for disabled travellers This hotel should not be listed as a diasabled access hotel - it is not. Very disapointing. Main entrance has a revolving door with no door man to let you through. Breakfast is served upstairs with no customer lift - staff did not handle this very well. Travlling through hotel kitchen to get for breakfast is certainly not ideal. I would not go there again. I strongly reccomend that Late Rooms remove this hotel from their disabled access category.

This is one of the old hotels in Brussels, but it was renovated and still well maintained as being elegant. The cost was not expensive at all and the room was kept clean. The location is execellent based on the fact that it is close to main attractions and one block away from a metro. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Impressive lobby area, good breakfast, let down by roomI asked for a non-smoking room, but there was a stale odour in the room, the TV didn't work either.

Excellent hotel. Would thoroughly recommend. The staff are the smartest, most helpful and friendly I have ever come across. The hotel ground floor rooms are absolutely stunning and redolent of a bygone age but with modern first class srvice.

The room was not very clean - for example, opened and partly eaten sweets had been left in the room from previous guests. Very good service in the cafe, but the breakfast was not of sufficiently high standard for this type of hotel.
