We stayed at the menage four nights while visiting Disneyland with children. It was a great place to stay because of the hip decor and fun pool atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool bar's daily happy hour with great drinks and top notch appetizers half off. It was an inexpensive way to take a break from disneyland and eat for less while sipping on a cocktail and letting the kids take a swim. All the staff were great. The noise from the freeway was really loud but the loud music played at the pool all day tends to drown it out. We expected this after reading other reviews and didn't mind because we were not there for peace and quiet. We found that the music layed gave the place a real vacation feel. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were just plain motel bathrooms but we didn't mind.

10min walking distance to Disneyland. $10 for parking was not mentioned in add. The ice machine did not work. The shower head fell apart. Small bath room. This is just a Holiday Inn that had a make over. It shouldn't call itself a hotel. It's a Inn or Motel. Makeover the lobby to look like your at the W and a leather headboard and call it a 3 star hotel.

I'm pretty picky about where I stay and I was kind of disappointed that my room is near the freeway but when I was inside I couldn't really hear the cars. The bed was really comfy and the t.v. was awesome! I've never seen a t.v. like that before, not even in the Hilton and such. Room is a decent size. I like the shower considering I could either just stand there or use the shower head. Didn't try the food so maybe next time when I go again I will. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Everything was good except the parking fee which was not mentioned in the orbitz website but was later charged at the hotel

Quiet. They charged $10 per day for parking - no notice of this. Nice rooms, great TV and pool area. Be aware that they charge $10 per day per vehicle for parking, as well as charging for the Disney shuttle.

My friend and I had been planning a trip to Disneyland for a while and were really excited to stay at the Hotel Menage. The pictures were nice. Right when we arrived, we were treated kindly and the staff exceeded our expectations. I really don't know why people are saying it is a long walk from Disneyland; it is probably only ten minutes-MAX. The pool was very nice and refreshing, and the hot tub was a nice place to relax. As for our room, the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I have EVER slept on! I hardly wanted to get up to go to Disneyland! The room was very nice and well decorated. We really enjoyed the television also. Whenever we had any questions, or needed towels, they were quick and friendly. I would DEFINATELY recommend this hotel to young adults, as well as families. There is a great night scene outside in the bar. It is also very kid-safe, and we were NEVER woken by any noises. The fireworks can be heard anywhere in Anaheim. Overall, this was a great hotel, the price was great, along with the service, and I would NOT hesitate to stay here again.

Overall great hotel. Nice decor inside. Rooms above average. Great people/service at valet, outdoor bar, and front desk. Dislikes was a dirty pool that had a lot of hair and bugs. Service at restaurant for dinner was terrible. Waited almost an hour for food even with it empty inside.

Having to Pay for Parking. Should be included with stay.

What a nice surprise! This hotel was much nicer than we expected. Our stay was 4 days and the hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The restaurant provided quality food and the service was quick. Close to Disneyland but a bit too far to walk and if you don't want to drive you can take the hotel shuttle. It costs 3 per person but it is cheaper than the parking at Disneyland. We had a great time.

The menage is a really gorgeous hotel but what made my stay unpleasant was the unfriendly staff and the horrible location....ill start off with the location it was either a 15 minute walk or a 30 minute wait for the bus.. the hotel is right by the freeway so it was extremely noisy not to mention the girl put us in what most people would call the worst room located right by the freeway and roof access where there were maintenance workers smoking.. the rooms are really nice i must say but what else really got me is that they charge you $10.00 for self parking per night and $20.00 for valet i couldnt beleive it. Now for the staff but to be honest it was just one girl it wasnt the entire staff so apart from putting us in a bad room she also failed to mention that parking was $10 per night and i didnt find out til check out when a different staff member had me sign a sheet saying this is how much i owe for parking. Overall 1 out of 5.. i would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they like noise and hidden charges.

It was clean. Being charged for parking. It was a nice hotel. The staff was basically friendly. Parking was a little bit hard to drive into and out of their lot (basically a tight fit). I must add being charged $10.00 a day to park made me feel I was being nickel and dime by the hotel. Also, prices were a little bit too pricey for this type of hotel. Still, we did enjoy the hotel.

Some complain about the noise from the highway. We had no problem with that.Towels were awful. Like loofahs.Handicap rooms not really accessible. No roll-in shower.Pool area was nice. Lobby nicely decorated.Definitely not more than a 3 star.

The outdoor entrances to the hotel rooms overlooking the highway make the Hotel Menage look like an updated motel 6. The ammenities in the rooms are nice, however, I stayed on the 5th floor and the wireless internet did not work on the 5th floor. Being a business traveler this was exceedingly annoying.

Close to attractions. Right across the street from the freeway.

The Menage appears to be a new, trendy Hotel. The rooms have fresh paint, decent linens and new TVs. But- BEWARE! Every morning, from 7:30- 11:30, our room had NO HOT WATER! We were told that the hotel was full and "everyone is taking showers in the morning". For us, this made the Menage a place that we would never visit again. And, since we had booked through online travel website, the Hotel advised us that no refund could be made. So now, the case in "in review" & hopefully we will be able to get some money back. Upon check in we were given an "upgraded room". This room was on the first floor, right across from the elevator and in an area of high foot traffic. Needless to say- we were woken up early everyday by screaming children and slamming doors. What an upgrade. One last comment- the walk to Disneyland is 15-20 minutes and is DEFINITELY too far for young children- unless they are being carried. Hope that you find this useful when making your decision.

The photos posted on the website gave me the impression that the property was an indoor hotel. Actually, it was more like a motel design. I felt a little misled at first. But, the decor was so stylish, unique and comfortable that I soon began to like the place. Only the first floor have the concrete floors the hotel's website boasts. We were in room 109 right out side the lobby doors. The only problem with that room was the close proximity to the music pumped atrium, which housed the pool and the outside bar. I was impressed with the amount of money and thought put into updating the property to have the boutique look. My husband and I kept commenting to each other that we felt like we were in the caribbean. It was interestingly good stay. The valet guy rocked. They were friendly and quick. The restaurant food was good as well.

Very comfortable beds. The decor is something I would choose for my own home. None. Hotel Menage is a converted motel but they vamped it up as an upscale hotel. Not bad. The lobby has a cool lounge vibe and the outside pool area is beautiful. When we were there, there were sets of bands playing for weekend entertainment. I thought that was really cool.

My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon and were shocked by the location and overall look of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a must stay hotel. Only problem was the small bathroom and bathtubs. Overall a wonderful honeymoon!

The heater in the room was most effective. Bed frame is a safety hazard as sharp corners can be pumped into. Room inside was great. The TV flat screen and the heater were excellent. Did not like the bed frame, which is longer then the mattaress so sharp corners can become a hazard when walking. the outside of room 344 faces the 5 freeway and can be loud from traffic at times. Location was ideal for Disney anything. Watch out for extra fees on parking on hotel that is not right!!
