DisappointedUnfortunately this was not the best of hotel experiences. The room was in dire need of refurbishment. Shabby and very basic. The bathroom was small and the towels full of holes. Ok it was clean but had that sterile feeling to it. When booking the hotel it indicated that we were saving over £80 a night. This is absurd, and sure it is just a way to lure people into booking the hotel. Expensive for the basic level of room and service. The one thing it has going for it is the location but there are other hotels in the area which are much better including hotel albeniz.

Kept Simplerooms were very basic just beds and a desk, didnt need anything else. the bathroom was clean and decent size. value for money could have been better for what we got but there is no major complaints.

This hotel was clean with welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. It provided a good base from which to explore the city . The room was comfortable, enabling us to have a good nights sleep after a hard day's sightseeing! The only reservation we had was that it was a shock to come into a room where someone had obviously been smoking now that smoking is generally banned in England - it really is something non- smokers here no longer have to cope with [an open window got rid of lingering odours effectively so it was not a big problem but hotel could take note]

medium standard hotel, well located for most things and walking distance to sagrada familia. Staff are helpful and friendly, breakfasts OK.
