Desk clerk gladly agreed to provide me with an upgrade (not much of one--just a king bed, instead of the usual queen, in a standard room) . . . then charged me for it without telling me! Cheesy move, guys, that completely undermined the experience.

travel to spokane frequently. have never had a bad experience at this hotel. staff very friendly, competent, and willing to provide great guest relations. rooms are comfortable, bathrooms very nice and spacious. the hotel itself is quiet, clean, and low key. despite the fact this was race weekend in dowtown spokane, the hotel was quiet and relaxing and very well organized.

Nice location and hotel overall but lacked food services, room service or first run movies on tv, no coffee maker in rm.

Hotel Lusso is an incredibly pleasant place to stay. Being a somewhat hard person to please when it comes to hotel stays, I was very happy at this hotel. As I was checking into the hotel I was told it was wine tasting time and asked if I wanted to join. It was complementary, what a great way to start off my stay. And if this isn't enough, they offered a turn down service and left fresh cookies on the night stand. This hotel an awesome place to stay at an incredibly low price. When I travel to Spokane again, I don't see any reason to stay anywhere else.

This Hotel was OK, not more. The rooms are nice(but mine wasn't particularly clean or in good repair)The hallway smelled like cat pee. One of the hotel employees(not a valet) first ignored, then scolded me by reminding me TWICE (I'm not deaf or dense)that I would have to wait for my car in the morning. Duh! The parking garage is blocks away.On the flip side, I felt safe, slept well and the cookies and the soaker tub were to die for.X the valet was excellent and very helpful.

The restaurant that provides room service as well to the hotel had closed on Sunday. So no room service breakfast for me and that is an important meal when you are traveling. Although the restaurant had only been closed a few days, the sale had been pending and was known. If I had known, I would have stayed elsewhere. The hotel should have comped their guests something for this inconvenience. They did not and seemed reluctant to even acknowledge that there was no room service-the rooms and phone still had room service links. Orbitz should update their web site ASAP so travelers know about this.

I have stayed at the Lusso several times. The staff is always helpful and professional. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are huge.

Very friendly and clean!. The valet was a welcome sight and they were extremely helpful. I went up to Spokane with my daughter and we both thought this hotel was exceptional. We loved the location and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Hotel Lusso again!

We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, but they were staffed too thinly so things like check-in/out valet, etc. took a while

The King Suite room was spacious and inviting. Everything from the decor, amenities, service, to the food was first class. I have travelled and stayed in many 5 star hotels and the Hotel Lusso can compete with the best of them. It was a very delightful find. I will definetly return and recommend it to my friends and business associates.

"Really felt comfortable here. Very welcoming, clean and classy. Meals in the restaurant and bar were fabulous - morning breakfast was great most days - could have used more selections/fruit/yogurt/etc. other days. Thoroughly enjoyed having a glass or two of wine in the lobby/sitting area at the end of the day. Highly recommended."

The hotel staff is really friendly upon arrival and departure, as well as when I ran into anyone in the hallway or lobby. The room was large and very comfortable, with a huge bathroom and soaking tub, which you don't see in many hotel rooms. The location in downtown Spokane is great--within walking distance to Riverside Park, the Arena, restaurants and shopping. I would recommend staying at Hotel Lusso if you are in Spokane.

"Beautifully decorated hotel with a European feel. Gorgeous large bathroom, comfortable bed. I was greeted with a glass of wine when I checked in at 5:30 pm. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The great price I got made it even better."

This is a beautiful classic hotel just across the street from the Davenport. Great service. Relaxed. We stayed in the hotel to go to a play at the convention center

"This is the second time I've stayed here and I will always try to book this hotel for trips to Spokane. Great location, nice rooms, very helpful staff, and a good price. I'd recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers."

We stayed at the Lusso for a college graduation. The staff was cordial, and the decor adorable. Be ready for a very old building completely made new. Floors slope a little, but the lovingly restored high ceilings and antique center stairway capture the best of times gone by. Loved the wonderful towels and large corner room (413). Will have to try the cozy bar next trip.

"The hotel is gorgeous, the shuttle driver was very kind and helpful, it isn't listed that shuttles cost extra$$"
