Its indeed a very good hotel...I liked the location..I visited majority of the places by foot..(except vatican) .I started at noon and I was back in the hotel by 7 pm...I would definitely recomend this hotel..

"We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel during our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, directing us to a local grocery and bakery within walking distance. The hotel is in a lovely quiet residential part of Paris, yet still central to all of the tourist sites. Easy to get to from the Trocadero metro stop. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. We would choose this hotel again!"

the location of the hotel is great is 2 blocks away from the tracadero metro station and is 5 minutes walking away from Eiffel tower.The only thing that i didn?t like was that the bathroom was really small

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very quaint French style hotel, but very modern. GOOD: Great location, close to Eiffel tower but not so close to be inundated with (other) tourists. Easy to get to Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. Great local restaurant and bar scene. Very polite staff, would always help what they could. Front desk people could not always speak english but was not a problem usually. (I speak some French, and my wife had no problem). Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Free Wireless Internet. NOT SO GOOD: Room is very small, and probably pricey for its size. Bathroom was particularly small. There are no activities at all in the hotel. Combined with the small size of rooms probably makes it not a great choice for families.

"Hotel Longchamp Elysees is a hidden treasure. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. You'll notice the rooms and elevator are small, the rooms are about 17' X 20'. So, with excessive luggage and a travel partner space can become limited. The location of the hotel is great. You will be in walking distance of the Metro and the hotel is located between the Eiffel Tour and the Arc de Triomph. You'll find several cafes within a couple hundred yards, although, they are really tourist cafes. Overall a great place to stay, where the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. "

"After all we had heard about the negative side of Paris, we were thrilled have the Hotel Longchamp Elysee as our base. Clean, neat, great and helpful staff and a prime location for getting to the Metro. We loved it and are going back and will again use the HLE as our home base. Merci HLE staff for a perfect stay."

"The hotel was close to the Metro, and walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. Room was clean, safe (I left money, laptop, jewelry in the room with no problem, even though you leave the room key at the desk when you leave). The water was always hot, even at peak use times. They left adequate towels, but no washcloths.Breakfast was predictable, but good.Free internet use downstairs. Staff tried to be helpful. Found that ""double/twin"" beds does not mean 2 separate beds, had to ask them to separate them for me and my son."

"I was pleased with the hotel, it was very clean and close to the metro. (Tracadero) I felt quite safe in the neighborhood at night and there were several cafes in the area that are great. The rooms are small, but extremely clean. You can use the internet for free downstairs if you bring a laptop, otherwise it's $10 a night in the room."

Hotel Longchamp Elysees is well located between the Eiffel Tower and the the Arc de Triomphe which are within an easy walk. The Metro is within a block and a half and there are several good restaurants within sight of the front door. Located on a small side road this little hotel is a jewel.

"The hotel staff was gracious and very helpful. The location is near the metro and also allows for easy access by foot major tourist destinations. The room that my traveling companion and I had was disappointingly small however. I would not return there because the room was simply too small for two people, One person, perhaps."

"Manager was nice, but shady. He made it seem like the breakfast and mini-bar were free. Manager also got a cut of the shuttle service, just for making a phone call. You have to leave your key at the front desk when you leave the hotel - don't bring a laptop or anything valuable. Also there was a fee for using the safe. I wouldn't stay here again - there are better places for the same amount of money."

"not recommend this hotel. room really too small. We heard some refurnished but you don't get them. breakfast very little, the lady serving it, I prefer don't tell. "Price was right. Relatively good location near Trocadero/Eifel Tower and Metro. Small, but clean. Front desk people were reasonably helpful given our language barrier. Biggest issue was that they appeared to suggest itineraries that they may have had a self interest in rather than what were interested in. Next time, we'll likely stay more centrally located, such as in Marais."

"This hotel has an excellent location, two blocks from the Trocadero metro stop. The room was smaller than expected but satisfactory. The manager spoke excellent English. All things being equal, we can recommend this hotel for a short stay."

"The staff was very nice and accommodating in every way. The rooms are spotless and the bathrooms immaculate, the front desk gave us all of our numerous messages, and were always helpful. It has a great location (Eiffel Tower, Trocadero ) and they booked us a very inexpensive shuttle (30 Euros for two people) from CDG airport. HIGHLY recommended."

"Excellent location with friendly staff. (Bathroom tiny but very clean. 6'1"" husband managed fine). Arrived via metro and our first sight emerging was Eiffel Tower! Quick walk to hotel. Our last day (Sat.) we found an open air street market where Rue de Longchamp becomes Ave. du President Wilson. The locals shop there and so did we! Great photo oppotunity too . Even my teenagers loved the hotel! We will stay there again if given the opportunity to return to Paris. "

"Downside - didn't like the wool/felt blanket ( picky ) - I'm used to 300 count sheets ( LOL ) but that was about it. Nothing was dirty, out of place.The room was small but very stylish and clean as pictured, the staff was excellent. Got hooked on the breakfast. The concierge and staff definitely made it feel like a home away from home and we traveled with the baby. They were extremely curtious, professional and personable and we're definitely visiting the same hotel when we return."
