My husband and I stayed at the Jardins D'Eiffel in early October 2008. The staff - especially B... were efficient, welcoming and informative. We were very pleased with the location of the hotel; 1 block from the Rue Cler, easy walking access to the Musee D'Orsay, Eiffel Tower, Louvre and the St Germain district. We would return to this hotel.

I was extremely disappointed with the accommodation, i had booked the whole trip for a surprise for my husbands 30th birthday and it was just diabolical. The hotel itself was very dirty, we even asked to change rooms as it was so disgusting, the rooms were very small and with a sloping roof so my husband couldn't even fit into the room. The decor is nothing like the internet pictures, it looked like it hasn't been updated sice the 60s. There was no TV Channels in english, the shower was broken and had to be held to use it, you had to literally hang over the balcony to see the guaranteed eiffel tower view i was promised and in all i was so utterly disappointed and upset over the whole experience.

Hotel was adequate but room was rather basic and the price charged was a little expensive for that reason. Ithought the breakfast was fine.

Excellent location in very safe area (police office next door) Only downside was rather small room.

Good location (15 mins walk to Eiffel tower). Safe to walk back to at night. You can leave your luggage at the hotel on arrival and departure days, safely locked up which was great.Expensive really for what it was and breakfast was an extra 15 euros per day.Fairly close to 2 metro stations (better to use The Invalides metro as better connections)Good cafe just around the corner (Columbus cafe) - croissants and coffee/tea for breakfast only 3-4 euros.Room quite small but clean (and quiet at night as we were at the back of the hotel)Nice hotel but would not stay again only because it was a bit pricey - if it had been a bit cheaper and included breakfast would go back as clean and in a good location.

The location was great, very close to lots of shops, cafes etc. The room was very small and not as the photo would suggest - more dated, however it was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom well equiped (bath and shower). Our room faced the street and was extremely noisy at night (mopeds and shouting) I would definately request a room at the back of the hotel if staying again (they may also have a view of the Eiffle Tower)

Great residential location with tons of shops, patisseries and cafe's. Very close to Eiffel Tower and nice walk to Champs Ellysees. Friendly staff who were very accommodating. Smaller rooms, but clean and good use of space.

Nice hotel in a great part of Paris. The cost of breakfast is too high but apart from that the hotel does represent good value for money. The rooms are of ample size for anyone planning to spend the majority of the time sightseeing.

The hotel was quite easy to find and close to La Tour Maubourg, however, the directions on this site should really include proper \"left down this street, right into that street\"directions. The staff were very helpful, accommodating poor French and replying in French rather than dropping straight into English when it became clear we weren't French, but dropping into English if we got stuck. I was a bit disappointed by the room as it was very small and didn't really resemble the photos too well, but was adequate (especially if you're doing tourist things most of the time). The breakfast was quite good and nicely varied, but was extra on top of the room which didn't make it especially good value for money at €13.50 per person. NB. if you're right at the end of the breakfast window, the serving are not very helpful. In summary, it was quite cheap for Paris, but you only get what you pay for, so if you're on a buget it's worth a look.
