it's a small hotel, but it's ten minutes to Eyfel by walking.

The room/bathroom were sparkly clean, the staff was very helpful and the neighborhood was wonderful. Everything was so convenient... groceries, the Metro, restaurants, an internet cafe... everything was close by and easy to find. This is an excellent place to stay if you are on a budget and need a good, clean, safe and charming place to stay. (We even found a Starbucks just down the street!) There are no English TV programs, so bring your own DVDs and a laptop if you don't speak French and are afraid to miss your favorite programs! We especially loved the French windows that actually opened up in the bedroom and bathroom.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel because of the many favorable TripAdvisor reviews, which we have generally found to be reliable. While the hotel is serviceable, we wish to provide a better characterization for future readers: it is over-priced for what is essentially a budget hotel offering low quality and very bare service that one might expect from a hostel. Soap is not provided; eating in rooms is not permitted; the air conditioning was not turned on, despite the unusually warm weather, as guests were asked to keep their windows open at night, letting in both the cooler air and, of course, the street noise. It is a shame that ownership does not invest any money in upgrading the facility because the location in a well-heeled residential area right off a charming market-street would make it ideal.

Good clean simple accomodations. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Safe pedestrian shopping street with good restaurants, grocery, bakery and espresso cafe's.

This hotel has pro's and con's. It is more of a sleeping room than a hotel but they did clean our room every day and change the sheets and towels. Our room was about 10 X 16 - this included a small double bed a desk and a chair. The air conditioner would turn on but did not cool the room. Overall the bedding and pillows left much to be desired. However, the neighborhood was wonderful with small cafe's and markets on a pedestrian only street. We read the reviews and were disappointed in the hotel overall. We would not stay here again as there are other hotels in the same area for about * per night more that are much more comfortable and suitable for a 6 night stay. If all you want is a clean bed and a shower then this would be your place, but we wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 or 3 nights. Even for Paris the rooms were very small.

We just returned from 4 wonderful days in Paris. This hotel was an excellent choice. The room is small, but we did not go to Paris for a hotel room. It was clean, safe, and located on a charming and authentic street in Paris. I cannot praise the front desk enough. They all spoke English and could not have been more helpful and friendly. Fancy it is not, but I've already told my daughter that if she goes to Paris next summer this is definitely where she and her family should stay. Special applause to X, Y and the rest of the front desk staff who went out of their way for us.

"the hotel is very very cute! The location is personal to me because it's near my old school, but its also very close to the Eiffel Tower and 2 different metro lines. The place is clean, air-conditioned and you have your own decent sized full bathroom. The street is on a charming pedestrian street that bustles with locals running errands all day long! A great deal overall!"

"Good clean, quiet, efficient hotel. A place to sleep nothing, nothing more. Courteous and prompt service.dont take the breakfast deal, great stalls and cafe's right outside the front door"

Don't book this hotel expecting a free breakfast because you won't get one. It costs 7 euros each.

"This hotel is a good place to stay if you want a clean and inexpensive hotel (compared to other hotels in Paris). It is located in a very charming street. There are several nice restaurants, patisseries, and fromageries nearby. And if you miss America, there is a McDonald?s and a Pizza Hut steps away from the hotel. It is located 5minutes from the metro and 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. The staff speaks good English and is very helpful. Breakfast is not included as advertised."

"By reading other comments, I was not disappointed since I knew what to expect. Very small room on the 4th floor that overlooked a cute pedestrian street. Clean but sparse which is what you get for a 2 star, inexpensive room in Paris. It is in a shopping district, so active all day, but things close early during the week. Street comes alive very early so no alarm needed. A bit noisy with windows open. Easy to get to Metro & RER. Gave you a good sense of how people live in Paris. Want a fancy hotel, this is not it. Want cheap, clean and safe...a good deal."
