Hotel Annexe Taylor reviewNot much impressed with this gaff. Hotel frontage looks good but that's the hotel. The Annexe is just that - an annex. It had more the feel of a hostel. 50 euros doesn't feel good value to me. Still the room was waiting when I arrived and that's something.

Not a good experienceRoom size was small. Toilet was small and I was struggiling to move freely. I never seen such a small lift which hardly accomdate 2 persons. Phone was not working. Customer service was good and breakfast was fresh and healthy.

Not badThe hotel was about what I'd expect for the price we paid- better than a hostel as the rooms were cleaned daily, towels were provided and we had an ensuite. But if you are hoping for more than a basic cheap place to sleep I would look elsewhere. The room was clean and adequate, though pretty small and not in a great state of repair (the bathroom ceiling had cracks in, the dresser was propped up by a can of paint). We were a bit disappointed to find that the 'double' bed was two singles pushed together. Staff were nice enough but didn't seem to speak any English, although we didn't have any cause to contact them apart from checking in and out. The street that the hotel was on was quiet but well lit and didn't seem seedy. The hotel is near several metro stops so it was really easy to get around. Basically it was a cheap and convenient place to stay- nothing special but a lot nicer than other cheap hotels I've stayed at in Paris.

The hotel is nice, the front desk attendents are very kind. Bedrooms are clean and cozy (a little small but cozy).The location is good, near between two metro stations: Republique and Strasbourg Saint-Denis. The neiborhood I didn´t enjoyed so much. It was difficult to find a place to take breakfast because the hotel breakfast is too expensive for what is offered.

Stayed there for 3 nights from 11th of May till 14th of May 2007. It's actually complex of two hotels: Luxor H and Taylor H with reception only in Taylor. I stayed in Luxour so I've received a door code to gain access to hotel next door. Hotels themselves are really lovely despite the lane where they are located looks very dodgy, almost like bad maintened back yard, but had never any trouble there. Was very save however didn't look like. Hotel Louxour was at that time just under reconstuction so didn't have very good view (scaffolding only) but it's very quiet there through the night so you'll get very good sleep. I was negativly suprised by seize of the room - absolutly tiny. All hotel facitlities are very tiny except entrance lounge(I was told that all hotel in Paris are tiny compared to other cities so get use to it). The lift is for 2 adults only (medium seize), the width of hall is only 1 meter so there is no chance to pass by other guest. Bathroom - lovely and modern. Shower bit a small though. Note there is no furniture except bed and two side tables. NO WARDROBE! Just 2 hanger beside the door. Rooms are very clean. Day staff very nice and ready to help you with everything, speaking good english (beter than mine). Night staff way behind day shift, not very helpfull probably due to poor english. There is no eating facilities on site. Acces 24 hours. Internet in reception area FREE OF CHARGE. Good access from couple of Metro station. All in all good hotel with a great staff in a bit of dodgy lookin area, but safe though. Wouldn't reccommend it for honeymoon. Good for budget travel, young couples, not really for families with kids.

Hotel difficult to find. Down and out area of Paris. Thieves operating nearby. Builder stepped right into our daughter's room to close her window in the early morning, then proceeded to drill into the wall of her room. Shower did not work. Door would not lock. Bed unbelievably uncomfortable. Downstairs hall a building site - half painted, dust sheets everywhere. The most uncomfortable night any of us remember spending.

We were husband and wife but your system will not let us register as one male and one female. The staff were very helpful and kind.

The check in details were not provided clearly, while booking we were told that you can check in at 10 am but, up on reaching hotel we found that , the check in timing are from 2 pm . This was rediculous, we lost half our our day spending out side .

Si dans son ensemble l'hôtel peut être considéré comme correct les salles d'eau laissent franchement à désirer :elles sont tellement exiguës qu'il est quasiment impossible de s'y tenir debout !

Hotel de qualité ... à relativiser bien sûr selon le prix que vous paierezChambre calme, quartier calme.J'ai bénéficié du tarif web de 56 euros / nuit pour une chambre individuelle (hors petit déjeuner)Le coin sanitaire/douche est étroit mais très confortable.Deux bémols : absence de volets et éclairage ininterrompu dans les couloirs toute la nuit
