The hotel is tucked away far enough away from the strip to avoid noise but close enough that the bars and restaurants are just a short trip away. The staff here was amazing and they really made our trip that much better. The bartenders there really helped facilitate our nights and helped us get through the hangovers the next day. All around great experience with the rooms which were comfortable and clean.

The Staff was the best. The decor of the hotel was great. I highly recommend this place. It's kind of funky and cool. The staff is excellent. I was treated as good as I've been treated in 5 star hotels. No complaints.

My husband and I stayed here 5 days 4 nights as a mini vacation and doing relocation research we loved it close to everything yet still beautiful views. Hotel staff was wonderful and our room was very nice for the price will come back to visit even once we move to Az. the meals were a little expensive for the portions but still tasty.

Too bad this otherwise unique and beautiful hotel is noisey and sleep is very difficult. There is no carpet on room floors to soak up sounds, so I spent the night listening to the people above me walking around and the people next to me talking (they were not yelling). When I informed the desk clerk the next morning, they shrugged and suggested I try to get a top floor room with no connecting doors. Very little sympathy, so I guess this is a common complaint. It really is a construction issue, because otherwise the hotel is great. But sleep is a critical determinant of whether I return or not. I am not returning.

The room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Some thoughtful touches were a teak stool in the shower, a robe, and a big screen TV. In-room internet was available using the TV and a wireless keyboard for about $10 per day, but I just used the free computer and internet in the lounge. The pool was spotless, with extra towels available there. Both breakfast and dinner meals in the lounge were tasty and reasonable priced. The staff was very helpful and congenial. Parking is free and convenient--also shady if you are lucky! Location is safe and very convenient to shopping and restaurants. In Phoenix in the summer, air conditioning is VERY important, and this room was quite cool with a digital thermostat to instantly fine-tune the temp. The downside was that the AC unit was very noisy, necessitating adjusting the TV volume every time it cycled. In addition, the frigid air blast from the AC made it impossible to sit at the desk and work. I was surprised that with everything they did have, there was no refrigerator in the room. All in all, a very good experience at a reasonable price. I will definitely go back to Hotel Indigo on my next trip to Scottsdale.

Nice rooms and great downtown location. A$200 deposit was charged to my card without out notification and bed was squeaky. Great location for the 20's and 30's crowd. You can walk to shopping and restaurants. Modern design and friendly staff. Watch out for the room deposit, as they may forget to tell you!

Like others have said, this was the most noisy hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are strange and stark, the furniture is mismatched and is low budget modern. The lighting in the room is sparse and sheds a creepy almost black light look. Also our room reeked of wet dog, when I asked management if they allowed pets, they said they did, maybe I'm surprised they don't make that more apparent on their website, or at least dedicate certain rooms to those with pets. The noise from the surrounding clubs was so loud all we heard was bass all night long, we finally just got up at about 3 am and stayed up. We could not wait to check out. On our last day we got up very early of course and just checked out, totally deprived of sleep. One of this things I have to say on a positive note the staff is all very nice, when we told them about the noise they admitted it, but what could they do I guess. Also the 24 hour gym was great and needed as we were up 24 hours!

My 3 friends and myself stayed here during the time we went to the Barrett Jackson auction and we could not beleive how nice the rooms were for the price. Everything went very well for us being there, the downtown restaraunts were close by, the auction was close by, everything was cetraly located. We also found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We did make it to the bar down stairs and went outside by the fire place on the deck and met some great people from the Gooding Auction that was going on at the same time. The entire stay here was very comfortable and relaxing.

I read the reviews for this hotel, but still thought I would give it a shot. I am so glad I did. The service was amazing!!!!!! My room was so stylish and it had everything one would need. If it didn't the staff was more than willing to help you. They were hip, upbeat and so helpful! The food in the cafe was so delicious and the staff there made dishes special at your request, with no questions asked. I LOVED THE HOTEL, STAFF and ATMOSPHERE! I would stay there again, no questions asked!!!!

Hard to believe this was the old Hampton Inn in Old Town Scottsdale. I stayed two nights at the Hotel Indigo and will definitely stay there again. Very hip and cool vibe, but not pretentious. My room was beautiful and clean. The location is perfect for those of you wanting to be in middle of Old Town Scottsdale. The staff are friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back

Extended fly-in weekend in the Phoenix area, lounging poolside and taking in area restaurants and ambience. Hotel staff and environs were spectacular! Always helpful, knowledgable and courteous. Complimentary hotel shuttle service within 3 mile radius made car rental unnecessary! Waterfront shopping within walking distance, or Hotel bar/restaurant open late most days. Exceptional. Would absolutely stay again!

The decor was funky (in a good way), attractive, and comfortable. The party atmosphere and the painfully slow elevator. This is not your standard chain hotel. The decor is unusual, attractive, and comfortable. The bar area is very pleasant, up on the second floor so it's off the street. The pool looked nice but we did not use it. The hotel seems to attract quite a young, hip, party crowd (at least on the weekend), based on who we met on the elevator and on the streets nearby.

Although the hotel is nice enough and the staff pleasant, I found the description (and pics) to be deceiving. I was aware that I needed to present a major credit card but itwasn't disclosed anywhere that they place a $* hold on the card for incidentals. The "cafe" is the bar . . . the Starbucks coffee comes from the pot brewed behind the bar. The pool area is tucked in a little corner behind a fence that borders a parking lot; it gets no sun. The pool is no more than a wading pool. By day the area is quiet; however the hotel is surrounded by several popular nightclubs (one shares a parking lot with the hotel) so it is very busy and noisy until the clubs close at 2:00 am. Don't be surprised if you cannot get into the hotel's parking lot. I stayed over a weekend so I had noisy, intoxicated hotel guests outside my room. The rooms are nicely decorated but left me with the impression of an old room updated to look new. The ac/heat unit was obscenely loud! The advantage to that was it helped drown out the sound of the noisy, intoxicated hotel guests outside my room. Although my stay was not unpleasant, I would not stay here again.

Compared to the cookie cutter hotel chains, this place is great. Hardwood floors, unique light fixtures, LCD TV, etc. Especially liked the shower, great for tall people like myself. Location is also great, more so if you are 35 or below. Lots of clubs, bars and restaurants to visit within 4 blocks of you. Would stay here again.

A unique hotel. Tons of nightlife around if you are in need of that. The parking was difficult at night...and surprisingly enough the room/hotel was very quiet dispite all of the nighclubs in the area. During the day VERY unassuming and not too much activity. Fairly close to nice dining and shopping! About 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix! I was amazed that we got the car and the hotel room for 4 days for what we were planning on paying for one night the conventional way!!

Ireally liked my room. It was comfortable & fun. I would've liked to have a refrigerator in my room. I enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were pretty and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Was short but sweet, stayed out too late and got late check in, nice and clean, nice upper deck to hang out on and watch the pool area or whatever happens by. Great location for downtown Scottsdale and a night of fun.

Hotel is located next to several great bars and clubs. World class dining is within walking distance also. Staff is great and the bar has great food and drinks along with a friendly staff. Nice rooms with flat screen TV's. Local bars have no cover and lots of good scenery.
