The room appeared to be nicely recently renovated and the exercise room was wonderful. The hotel was quiet and parking was readily available. The room was very clean and the free wireless Internet connection was a perk. The smart shower was nice and this was the first hotel I have stayed in that featured this type of full body shower.

Front desk staff was very helpful when keys to the room did not work. Hard for some staff to help you unless you know Spanish.

The unique decor. No movie rentals. Warm and inviting welcome. The decor was unique, clean and modern. The staff was helpful and the free cup of coffee really hit the spot.

Friendly & accommodating front desk staff, new & very clean. New plasma TVs in each room did not swivel from wall mount. This is a great hotel. Friendly staff, new and clean, I was very pleasantly surprised in this, my first visit. I will definitely come again.

Everything. The bathroom tub was clogged, the elevators, and the internet connection didn't work; they moved us to a different room that wasn't that much better. To top this up the keys didn't open the door to get inside the rooms. It wasn't a good experience at all!

It was convenient to where I needed to be. Bathroom tub and floor needed to be completely redone, tile/gout was filthy! The bed was very comfortable and clean. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Please see comments above regarding bathroom.

The bed was very comfortable. Felt more like a motel. Did not feel safe as anyone could enter the room areas after hours. This hotel does not deserve a 3 star rating. It is a 2 star at best. The room was clean, but the decor was dated. It definitely needs a face lift. The overall experience was just okay. Nothing to write home about really.

Big room and close to highway. No room service, no mini bar in room. The room was big and comfortable, the beds were great. The hotel has a good location. I was disappointed with the appearance; it looks like it needs to be updated.

Clean, peaceful, relaxing. I liked everything about my stay at the hotel. I would strongly recommend this hotel atmosphere to anyone who would just like to get away for a few days, and do something of the nature of golfing or someone who like watching the game of golf.

The location. Out-dated, no wash clothes, charged for water that was never in room. Don Shula's Golf Club & Resort is located in a nice area (Miami Lakes), however, I was extremely disappointed by the upkeep of the rooms; the decor was outdated. I was extremely disappointed with the service: there were no wash clothes in the room and I had to wait for 1-hr to receive them. I was charged for water that was never in the room as well as two local phone calls for $222.64. The charges were reversed only after I asked them to explain how 2 local phone calls and a bottle of water could cost $222.64.

It was literally 30secs from the expressway. No room service or water available. The staff was clueless about everything. The golf club is just that; a golf club. It does not cater to anyone's needs and I would assume, not even to the golf players because there is no bottled water available that does not involve retrieving it from an overly expensive and a not-so- taste appeasing restaurant. Every time I tried to speak with anyone at guest services, I would be transferred as much as three times. The main hotel would answer the phone. It is located is larger, way newer, and even has room service. After one night's stay at the golf club, my husband got us transferred to the main hotel. The golf club is old, the beds are uncomfortable, and there is not even access to an elevator so my husband tripped and fell on the stairs as he pulled a cart full of luggage to our room because a bell service was not provided. The only advantage of staying at this outdated hotel is that you get a free "complimentary" cable modem service for your laptop. At the hotel, you must pay $9.95 a night for the cable modem. I guess they must compensate in some way or the other. I will not stay at the golf club again, maybe at the main hotel if the rates are cheaper (they too are over priced for what you get).

Location, access to interstate. Rooms/bathrooms need updating. The hotel is in a great area with access via driving or walking, however they do need to update the rooms, lobby and parking.
